Would you not also train another generation of conspirators to continue your project after you retire or die? Would you not have to arrange for many minor conspiratorial projects to train them and keep them busy? Would you not hire the best teams of experts to design the best methods of control? What would be the best methods of control? Would you not hide your power under a facade of incompetence, so your enemies could not see your real power? Would you not distribute false stories of conspiracy that can be easily discredited, so that people come to discredit all conspiracy stories, including the ones that your teams are successfully executing? Would you not take control of mainstream media and list your news sources as the "credible" ones that people need to believe in to avoid the "fake news" sources, which you have largely created? Does your imaginary picture begin to look like the real world out there?
To give this a little historical detail think of what FDR was dealing with when he gave his Four Freedoms Speech on January 6, 1941. For the freedoms from fear and want, he used the phrase "which, translated into world terms," because for these he was taking a globalist perspective, not just an individual one. He was advocating that the U.S. prepare for World War II, which resulting in the U.S. becoming the world superpower. To facilitate this he had transferred the U.S. Pacific Fleet from San Diego to Pearl Harbor. An oil embargo had been imposed on Japan so that it would feel the need to seize the Sumatran oil fields before its reserves were exhausted. U.S. forces in the Philippines threatened the new Japanese supply lines. .Japan was led to believe that it could conduct a successful torpedo attack against the Pacific Fleet in the shallow water of Pearl Harbor. Eventually the U.S arranged its obsolete battleships for great dramatic effort. The harbor was dredged so Japanese torpedoes would not hit the bottom. Manhole covers were removed from the Oklahoma so that it would capsize. The Arizona was filled with flammable fuel and set up to provide a dramatic background of fire, smoke, and explosion. In November the Japanese had taken the bait and begun planning for their attack. The U.S. was beginning to set up the harbor for its dramatic role when FDR gave his speech, so he no longer had to worry about organizing for the U.S. declaration of war.
