Is Cannabis sinful if it helps focus?

Yeah, apparently Elon is developing a phone for around $750-800 that connects to satellites and you would never have to pay for service or internet. Obviously, he’s facing loads of resistance from big companies.

Satphones have been around for more than 25 years. iridium was the first one to launch a ssatellite constellation for the purpose.

Satphones that are feasible for the average person to get and operate... Now that would be something to see!

After the market is saturated with phones and nobody is buying them anymore, I wonder how are they going to pay for satellite upkeep?

So I'm curious if it feels like Cannabis helps me focus more and put me in a state where i can safely say i read the bible and can understand it a bit better while on the stuff. After exploring resources like MinistryOfCannabis I found that many people use cannabis intentionally and mindfully for focus and clarity rather than recreation. Is it still considered sinful if it can help someone like me do that?
Usually I'm very autistic and my mind tends to get bored rather easy and starts to wander.. but with cannabis it helps me focus and during that time I usually am focus on the bible.

Most theologians would argue that sinfulness comes down to intent and effect rather than the substance itself. If cannabis is helping you focus on scripture and connect with your faith rather than escape or cause harm, it is hard to make a strong case that it is sinful in that context. For someone with autism, where focus is a genuine neurological challenge, using something that helps you engage more meaningfully with your faith seems like a positive use. Ultimately, that is between you and God.
