I feel like this should have been a forum post instead of a blog. As for the question, the global climate is not static. So it changes, gets warmer and colder. We haven't been tracking the weather long enough to know if changes in the climate are being effected by humanity. Regardless of what anyone says....NO one knows whether global warming is occurring as a result of human actions.
It is likely that we are not effecting the climate in any drastic capacity, but even more important.....if we are its just to bad. If mankind is causing climate change, it would take massive draconic measures to halt it. Measures that would result in widespread depopulation or massive global poverty.
So my opinion? We probably aren't causing global warming, but even if we are there is little we can do about that.
I believe that humanity was told to "Go forth and multiply.", and we have done just that. If we are using up our planet, then its something God knew would happen and as a Christian it isn't our highest concern. We should be good stewards yes, but we understand it will not last forever and unlike secular realms of thought, we don't have to try to think up ways to make the planet last forever.
