Hi Kristine,

I believe that internet relationships can be very deceiving. Relationships are built on trust and investing quality time with each other. For example, when you're in the Philippine Islands, and you're communicating with someone from the U.S., you are very limited in your ability to fully know and understand each other. Even the committment you have toward each other is limited because there is no real accountability.

Being very honest with you, it is far better, to cultivate relationships within your area, or at the least, within your country. Internet relationships which never lead to personal contact and time spent together, tend to lack quality.

If you desire a husband, ask the Lord. You can certainly continue to form friendships online, but I strongly recommend that you don't invest your emotions too quickly. If someone genuinely cares for you, they will make the effort to see you, and to spend time with you. Pictures, emails and webcams are good for initial communications, but eventually a real relationship must be formed.

thank you for ur comment songster... yes it's really hard to have a relationship on the net esp those that live in the US... i tend to believe so easily and was imagining that it was getting real already... but u r ryt, if the person loves u for real, he will want to meet u as soon as possible and that didn't happen to me... i just really have to move on and forget about him..
