But slavery was admissible in the Bible as owned property and God must have instituted it as He created and controlled every nation from the beginning. Those Jesus bought with blood are owned property. And it’s like being a slave of Jesus. I would want to be slave to Jesus in love. In reality the slave masters tho can be good masters or bad masters like husbands it’s referring to. Do you think God instituted polygamy as well?
No God did not institute Slavery. That is very bad error in biblically thinking SIN is the origin. Jesus is the Cure. Luke 4:18 Jesus clearly states the position of the Father as to why HE came which was Prophecied 600 years before
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,

To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,

God never instituted polygamy. As one growing up in that situation, I can tell you it was a really bad idea.

Making provisions for and laws around men's detestable habits does not mean God approves.

To my knowledge only POWs were made Slaves similar to those taken to the USA. But, even they were to be treated with kindness and respect. They were also taught true religion. More than one wife was too many. And, no their periods of my Dad's wives never lined up at the same time. Us older children kept a calendar to know whom to avoid and send the younger children to for the purpose of keeping them busy. My Father was a Sexton( a branch of LDS Church of Beaver Island in Michigan). I attend Temple Schools to please one of my Mothers. Sexton's were in Ohio and Michigan mostly.
When I became the Prophet, I disbanded the Sect. Most have been born again since then. Those who have died I was called to be by their bedside and I told each about the real Jesus. My Father was murdering July of 1993 while going after his 18th wife in Lakeland, FL.
There were four people involved in his murder which was labeled as home invasion. All four, have life time sentences. I have taken the time to forgive them and visit them to tell them about Jesus.

Wow! What a very interesting life (no doubt very challenging as well) and so very different from my own (with its own challenges and difficulties). Thank God you were called out of all that, and I praise His Holy Name that you have become an overcomer because of what He did for you, that you may in turn be a blessing to others.
Guys everything you listed is slavery we have known. You said only the POWs were slaves as we know was done in America. Even if just that was true, that is instituted slavery. They are owned human beings. You think the humans owning them all treated their property good?

If God controlled every country and who was king since the beginning like it says in the Bible then how would God not be in control of slavery since all authorities are instituted by God? Bible says that word for word.
Search and list all the verses that prophecy all the details about when and how God would send Israel into slavery and for 400 years. Also research all those details to see how they match with Africans that came to America and if America matches Egypt in any ways. When did Africans FIRST arrive as slaves and how long have they been oppressed differently than the rest of the population? Geographically as well how does America match Egypt? Why does America have same Egyptian cities on the Mississippi as Egypt did the Nile? Could it be a double prophecy?

I wholeheartedly agree with the excerpt (above) from this post of yours, NotmebutHim! I'd also add the fact that Scripture clearly shows that any husband should treat his wife (and her body) as his OWN! AND that the husband should also treat his wife as Jesus treats His Church. (Ephesians 5:22 and on) So why would anyone beat themselves and where does Jesus beat the Church?!
For the sake of stating my experience and knowledge related to your above post: I am a retired Ordained Pastoral Counsellor & a Registered Masters in Clinical Social Work Therapist in private practice since 1987. I am 64 and married almost 39 years (it is coming up fast!) I have many hours working with marriages of Christians where there has been wifely abuse. There is NO excuse or Biblical way to justify such sin!
The Bible does not forbid slavery. But the Old Testament regulated it. Paul encouraged masters to treat their slaves fairly and for slaves to obey their master. Slavery was not tied up with race and skin color in Paul's day or Abrahams like it was in the US South in the 1800s and prior centuries.
Abraham's servant, the one whose prayer the LORD answered, said of his master in Genesis 24:35,
And the Lord hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.
America is not Egypt and does not resemble it much at all. Americans named some of their cities after Egyptian cities. They don't look like Egyptian cities. The Nile is big. The Mississippi river is big. The religion and demographics are not the same. And 400 years is not 245 years.
The British Israelite movement found vague similarities between passages of scripture and the British people. That doesn't make the British Israelites.
