Now churches have kiosk in the foyers so that you can use debit/credit to donate to the church. Times are changing. Torah Observant people do not go online to buy or sell on the Sabbath, so that the Sabbath is guarded and kept holy, undefiled from all those things we have 6 other days to accomplish. 6/7th of time is yours. 1/7th per week is to be the LORD/YHWH.

I just found out the true meaning of easter a few months ago. I was sickened at the meaning behind the egg hunt. I grew up hunting eggs, and had my daughter doing it. I was actually doing pagan rituals! I wish I would’ve asked questions when I was younger, because all of us has thought at one point in time was does this have to do with the bunny , and eggs yet we blindly did it anyways. We don’t don’t do eggs hunts anymore, we don’t even call it ester we call it resurrection day! That’s the day my Jesus conquer the grave!

As for me and my house we repented for practicing in pagan rituals we are done with trees also. We need to remember Jesus is enough yo reach the lost we don’t got to mix the world into it. That is what people are sick of and need freed from is this world. If this world is not our home then why are we bringing wielding things in to reach the lost? Jesus is more than enough. That’s just my opinion.

I guess that i just never did bother with easter bunny and egg hunts, never did Santa Clause either. The only Christmas decorations my wife and I ever did was a nativity. We used to skip easter sunday at church each year. We kept all the celebrations low key if you will. We never judge those who did we just didnt. We taught our kids the story of Jesus, birth, ressurrection, all that stuff, and some cool church history concerning the holidays.
I have never liked holidays too much, probably from growing up dirt poor. Ive always hated commercialism that could be a factor too.
