Revelation 20:4-6 KJV (please read in the Holy Bible for further purposes, this is from BibleGateway)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Is the 1,000 year period a collective 1,000 years where believers will be resurrected starting at the beginning of it and during it, or is it a total 1.000 years where only believers who are resurrected at the beginning will take part? If it's the former then there is much hope for people who are alive during the millennial reign of Christ on the earth.

The 1,000 year millennium reign of Christ begins when he returns to earth with his angels at the trump of God, which is the 7th or last trump as written in II Thes 4:15-16. Upon his return, everybody is changed into their spiritual bodies for judgment as described in I Cor 15:51-53. If you believed upon the son of God and didn't reject him, you will take part in the first resurrection.

Those that rejected the Lord or that were deceived into worshipping Antichrist will not take part in the first resurrection and will be taught the truth during the millennium reign of Christ. Many that never learned the truth will be taught and given the chance to believe during this period. Those that overcome will take part in the 2nd resurrection at the White Throne judgment. Those that reject the Lord at the end of the 1,000 year period of teaching, will be blotted out of the book of like and go into the lake of fire and erased from existence.

About the those deceived, I do not see anyone deceived, all will know and decide to either believe Father in risen Son or not consciously
As we see, Jesus states to sone, go away, I never knew you
