No. How can the giver of Life be Lord of death? Yama is just another name for Satan.

No.

Yama, in the mythology of India, the god of the dead. The Vedas describe him as the first man who died, blazing the path of mortality down which all humans have since followed. He is the guardian of the south (the region of death) and presides over the resting place of the dead, which is located under the earth. *Source Britannica*

you say you are a Christian, so why would ask if a Hindu god is THE God of the Bible?

are you a Christian or perhaps not sure? I am wondering because of the question associated with a Hindu god being connected to a completely different understanding

There will come a day when good will be seen as evil and evil as good... its allready happend oh like 50 billion trillion times.. since that prophecy was fortold..

The other classic one is the lord giveth and the lord taketh. i take that to mean the holy spirit gives birth to life and keeps giving birth to life which makes our life a free gift and my life to,. I think the problem arises when a free gift is seen as a deposit and a ransom. which quite clearly that sadly is how our lord Jesus has been portrayed by our spiritual enemy all around the world

Yahweh is the most high God. There are other spirits, some of whom rebelled and directed nations in the wrong way. Now, Yahweh is calling all men to repent and believe in His Son, Jesus, Who was born as a Man, who died and rose again from the dead.

The spirits Hindus worship as gods are lesser spirits than Yahweh, lower than Jesus. That is why at times, Hindus have asserted that someone was possessed by a god, but a Christian could cast this spirit out of the person in Jesus' name.

If any religion is the least likely to be the God of the Lord, it is not the religion of India.

Mark 12:27
He is not the God of the dead, but God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
