I really, really adore someone I met on here recently, but if anything did happen and we ever did end up together, would that be frowned upon? Even if we kept our relationship pure and followed the wishes of God?
Thanks, I just don't want to be that girl.

I recall hearing that one of the members here, actually married someone they met on CC. I don't remember who it was, nor do I know if it's true.

If it is of not in the wrong with God, I don't see what I personally would be worried. People will frown on just about anything. What's important is knowing if they frowned for the right reason.

While it is certainly important to be chaste, there is always Grace when we fail and repent.

Check John chapter 8 on the last bit.

Thank you! I just want a godly relationship, not a bad reputation :)

Understandable.

Galations 1:10
Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Trilogic and SpunkyBlunky met each other on CC and got married. JamesofLinhood and Hvnbnd24 met on here and have recently been engaged...

Honestly why care what other people think? All that matters is if it's alright with God. There is no problem with this so there is no need to care.

But i would have to say that seeing as how you've been on the site TWO DAYS you might want to slow it down a little. There are a few guys in the chat that have girls chasing after them. If thats one of the ones you're so enamored with, you'll end up just being another groupie most likely. There are also, sadly, a number of guys here just looking to play girls.
While i see nothing wrong with dating someone you meet on CC, or on line, i think two days is way too soon to know anyone on this site to the degree to consider dating them. Just something to think about.

I don't think it's wrong at all! I actually know of several couples that have met on here and are married or are going to be married soon.

I think..if you can actually meet him face to face..then go for it..because long distance online relationships suck big time.. But like Ugly pointed out..take time to get to know the person more..there's time for that ^_^

Stop! Becareful, some people are wolves in sheep's clothing. Look around yourself where you are. I can honestly tell you that is where God wants you to be. Otherwise why would you be there.

It all depends on God's planning with you; whether you are meant to meeting your future husband in here, if you are both mature enough for it, etc... Most of all to praying and asking God to giving you wisdom, as well as to discern with the Holy Spirit if a guy you are getting known with is something to "go for". First it is important getting known with a guy just like a friend, as just going for attraction won't show whether he is of good choice or not.

Wow i have never heard of that verse before! that's soooo good =D thanks for sharing that!

Well emmmma, looks like you may have an answer.

Back in the day, people used to meet at church all the time. And some of them fell in love. I believe that God uses any medium, particularly those people, organistations or websites that are devoted to him, for his use, and that sometimes we will meet our soulmate at church, or Christianchat.
