Is Jesus really provider? If yes, why, many times, don’t we see His provision? (Part 1)
• Phil 4:19 -> “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”.
This promise is very good. Nonetheless, why doesn’t this promise, many times, fulfill in our life? What is it necessary so that this can be carried out in our life? Let’s break down into parts and study closely.
1 – Who will supply us?
“My God” -> It isn’t the God of the others, but our God. You can question: “but if the person believes in Jesus, we believe in the same God”. Therefore, the God that will save us is also the God of this person.
No, because everyone has a personal vision about Jesus Christ. It is for this reason that the Creator established the Church:
• Eph 4:11-13 -> “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, * until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God *, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,”.
As you can see, the meetings of the Church aims to guide everyone to believe in the same God: the God of Jesus Christ (ponder on John 20:17). That is to say, we need to have Jesus’ faith (Gal 2:20) so that we can see the Creator as He really is and be intimate with Him. He needs to be OUR God, namely, our helper, our counselor, our best friend; in short, our everything.
Have a good day letting Jesus be the difference in your life. Don’t believe in Him only theoretically. Jesus and His word isn’t only to be learnt (as a subject of school or theological seminary). They aren’t destined to curious people, but for those who believe thatHis lifestyle, beyond beautiful, is more powerful than all the powers and strongholds of this world.
