Is Mary a intercessor?

Due to the fall, the flesh always wants to go beyond Gods way. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil does have good in it that Satan uses to deceive the Saints. The Apostle Paul said, "the good he had done deceived him (despite all of his efforts to live for the Lord by means of Law-keeping, he failed; so does the RCC)." Romans 7 KJV

The Romanist Church invented Mary as the Mother of God, the Mother of heaven. It is all a lie...Mary submitted to the Holy Spirit and became the vessel through which Jesus came into the world as a man...Mary is a wonderful example of humble obedience to the rest of us....Look! Mary was very special. God chose her among all women to bring Jesus into the world and raise him as a child.
The information I lent on the catechism was for resource purposes to those who were interested.
there's no need for you to be insulting to me for using it.

As I stated before, understanding Mary in the Catholic church is important if you wish to witness to catholics and save souls.

And St. Barbara is not a demon spirit.
She was woman of God, and called a martyr and saint by the Greek Orthodox church.
What you are referring to is someone using St. Barbara as an idol.
Idols and demon possession are not the same.

So you just answered 4 statements in a negative manner and did nothing to provide an answer to the OP.

It is true that the best way to learn is from reading/studying Scripture.

To learn what RCs believe, though, one is better of going to a RC website and then comparing that information to Scripture.

BeyondET wants to know how RC supports intercessory prayer based on Scripture.

The answer here is "they don't" and "it's false doctrine" and "it's false religion".

At the RC website I gave, Scripture is given. It's then up to the reader to determine if the Scripture is correctly interpreted and applied.

There is absolutely nothing to suggest Mary was any different positionally to any other human being that has ever lived and there is only scriptural proof to the contrary, therefore the way she is esteemed in Roman Catholicism and other denominations is completely false and is a direct attack on Christ's unique role as our saviour and high priest.

No.....there is but one mediator between God and Men...his name is Jesus, not Mary......those who think Mary can or is an intecessor......they cannot count....

There's some of them now that will kill you if you disrespect mary to their face... no different than many muzlims will kill you if you disrespect mohamid to their face.

People are so touchy about their idols... true Christians don't have to do that cause we know Jesus is the only way unto the Father so we know we are on the right track unlike cathloholics and muzlims who suspect something is bad wrong but they just can't figga out what it is...

Jesus is the only intercessor, and that is clear in scripture. We are not supposed pray to or worship anyone or any other thing but God. The old testament is filled with warnings about trying to contact or talk to the dead, and in Revelations the angel forbids John from kneeling before him and worshipping him. Yet, it seems like the RCC want to make an idol of Mary.

I sincerely, pray for Catholics because I am sure just like every denomination there are some good Catholic people who truly love God, but they have been blinded and deceived, and I pray that the Lord help them to open their eyes.

As someone else on here said, Jesus is the 1 way to God. Jesus says it himself. Jesus loves and cares for us more than any earthly person dead or alive ever has or could. He paid the price for our sin and became our intercessor. There is no other way to God but Jesus.

I really do pray for Catholics and anyone else who tries to get to God through any other way.

That's a good point, here's a statement about that from someone who follows that Religion. I'm not sure if all catholics think this way, I hope not its quite disturbing what this person says about it.

LOL My friend....So many people cannot spell anymore...I used to be offended by it, and tried to encourage them to learn...Now I just shake my head and laugh too...It's still true though, spelling is important, because, even if the person doesn't care about it, it still says a lot about them, about intelligence or at the very least, education.

Seems you may know more about the Catholic doctrine then me.

Is this practice from all catholics about going to Mary or the saints to be the mediator for Jesus. I've read some views on this that seems to imply Jesus and God are one now and the only way to get prayers answered is through Mary or the saints.
