There are no remains of the ark on the earth. JMHO
oh ok so what about the anchor stones.

What are they in your humble opinion. Just random massive stones with holes at the top scattered near the mountains of Ararat?

Why would you say that? I know some claim that the wood would have been decayed by now. The people who say this are expressing their ignorance. The Bible is very clear, Noah covered the wood of the ark with pitch "within and without". Most people would have pitched the boat on the outside to keep the water from getting in the ship. There is no reason to pitch the wood within, it would make the inside of the ship messy and smelly. The only reason to do this is because God wanted to preserve the wood for thousands of years.

Wasn't there a boat that was preserved in Galilee from Jesus time?

Noahs ark would have been from waaay before, but it's conceivable that things on top of mountains (is it cold up there) remain undisturbed and subject to the weather, which on most mountains would be covered in snow half the time. I don't know not having been there myself, that is just my surmise.

No big deal. Pitch was used to seal boats from that era. If it had come to rest in an area of climate conditions supporting preservation, I could see it surviving. It come to rest on the top of Mount Ariat. What have the conditions been since then.

IMHO, if God had wanted the ark to survive into the future, He would have found a much better place for it to come to rest.

Like...Antarctica? Where in your opinion, which is so humble? IDK

I thought it was a one-time thing meant to keep Noah and the animals alive for 40 days and 40 nights and after that, it wasn't needed anymore, but I suppose some animals might have stayed behind and lived in the ark for a while after the flood waters receded.

The reason other boats that age would all be gone is because they would have been stripped of the wood. But this boat was left on top of the mountain and everyone inside would have gone down the mountain. Everything about Noah's ark is unique because God intended for it to be preserved.

No, it was disassembled and repurposed ~5,000 years ago.
What they couldn't salvage they used for firewood.
No, that is why the ark came to rest on the top of the mountain. When they left the ark they went down the mountain. God purposely made it so the ark would be preserved. How do we know that? Because he had Noah pitch the ark within and without.

They had horses, oxen, donkeys, plenty of pack animals to carry everything down.

Also they left the ark at the end of October, so they go down to the valley, make a shelter for the winter, and by next Spring the ark has gone through one full winter and the process of burying it in snow and ice and landslide has fully begun.

We're apparently reading two completely different books.

The second month was based on a calendar where Rosh Hashanah is the first day of the year. That is going to be in September.

The account tells you that they had 7 of each of the clean animals. That refers to cows and oxen, and they had donkeys and horses as well.

The ark came to rest on top of mount Ararat. When Noah and his family came out of the ark they had the whole earth to inherit. They would have picked prime farmland and pasture land for the animals. That would have been in the valley.

They would have known where the ark was but it would have been easier to cut up trees in the valley than to climb the mountain to cannibalize the ark six months later.

The point you made about the ark being cannibalized is very logical and makes sense and has been posited before. But those who make this suggestion are not looking at the account. This wasn't a shipwreck on the coast where people are shipwrecked. Mount Ararat in Turkey is 16,000 feet high. Assuming that the mountain the ark came to rest on is approximately that high, no one is going to live at 16,000 feet. The valleys at the base of this mountain are 3,000 feet high, that is a much more hospitable elevation.

People who argue the boat would be cannibalized are comparing the boat to shipwrecks which happen on coastlines, not at 16,000 feet.

So now read what you wrote and see if you can spot the difference. Take your time.
This describes a mountain range. I said that since Ararat is 16,000 feet high the other mountains in this range would be of similar height. Obviously we don't know the exact location from Genesis, but what we do know is that the ark came to rest on top of a very tall mountain range. It is unusual for anyone to intentionally live above 5,000 feet. There are mining towns that high, a cattle ranch rarely operates above 10,000 feet. It can be unhealthy for cattle to live above 5,000 feet. So even though there are such places with special species of animals, it would not have made sense for Noah who could go anywhere to do that.

The highest elevation for forests in Turkey is around 6,000 feet. The valley at the base of Mount Ararat is 3,000 feet. I would think the best location for Noah to build a house and have a ranch would be between teh 3,000 feet and 6,000 feet with the timber right there.

At that point timber could have been anywhere or nowhere nearby. It was all scattered as no trees were standing other than those buried upright. I agree with your deduction though.
If the atmosphere was similar then as now, there would be little to no reason to remain with the ark after provisions were depleted.
There's no reason imho to burn the ark.
It was a sound shelter. I don't think we have enough information to deduce for certain anything. Neither is the preservation of the ark necessary as a physical sign to boost our faith.

Considering the nature of God, He would provide whatever they needed for the blessings and abundance of all He kept alive. How and where He did that is not important, but back to the subject....

Does the ark still exist?
I hope so and like other archaeological discoveries, would be one more reason for the lost to believe the Bible. Those who have eyes to see will believe and those who don't won't believe even if one came back from the dead.

Yes. I don't know either, but what I am saying is that the two main reasons people say it wouldn't are not valid.

1. Noah pitched the ark within and without, that would have protected it from rotting away.

and

2. The Ark came to rest on the top of a mountain range that is around 13,000 to 16,000 feet in elevation. No one is going to want to climb 10,000 feet to cannibalize a boat and then drag the lumber back down 10,000 feet when you have forests right there. Also the trees would not have been destroyed by the flood even if they were uprooted.

True, that makes sense

I'm going to speculate that the ark would eventually be revered and a famous landmark. I would be surprised if a city were not built below it and monuments to it's existence and perhaps to God. That's just my hypothesis and nothing more. After thousands of years, there would have been many changes.

I sometimes wonder why we feel such a need to prove everything in the Bible archaeologically. Why can't we simply trust God and His Word? I'm not saying evidence is unimportant. Archaeology and history can certainly be interesting and discoveries can illuminate the biblical world. But our faith shouldn't depend on whether someone finds the remains of Noah's Ark.
If the Ark is still there somewhere, that would be fascinating. If it isn't, that doesn't change who God is or what He has done.
At some point, faith means trusting God even when we don't have all the answers.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

I'm going to speculate that this discovery will help them push the Noahide laws which they will use to outlaw the preaching of Jesus Christ as Messiah.
