We all have a conscience that tells us right from wrong. However, without the Word and the Spirit the conscience cannot be completely accurate. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."
I agree. Holy spirit try to speak to all, but hard for non Christian to listen to Holy spirit.
Any person that does not feel guilt or remorse they are diagnosed as a sociopath. All social groups have norms and mores. Even bad social groups, like street gangs, know not to commit incest.
The Holy Spirit convicts sinners of sin. How can anyone get saved without being convicted first. We are made in the image of G-d and He gave everyone a conscious. The Scripture says He put eternity in everyone's heart. Now the deceiver has come along and deceived people into believing things like relativity and the Scripture tell us if we quench the Spirit long enough we (humans) can get a seared heart.
We NEED the Holy Spirit to convict us of sin, as Christians not tell us right from wrong. Another great deception the deceiver has pulled off is desensitization. Just look at how many Christians have become desensitized to murder and support abortion for what ever stupid reason in spite of what G-d says about murder because they can justify it or homosexuality and defend it.

If the world did not know right from wrong then they would have an excuse for their sin, so they could not be judged for their wrong for they do not know better, but all have sinned and come short of the glory of God so we are aware of right and wrong when not saved.
Also creation testifies there is a God, and of His attributes, which one of them is love, and covers the 2 greatest laws, love God, and love people, so the world is without excuse, and covers the whole history of mankind.
Also the secular world has police, and laws, and a person can be in trouble for doing wrong, so they know right from wrong, which God said the Gentiles know right from wrong, and are responsible for their wrong that were not given the words of God.
Of course the non Christian would know right from wrong, for if not nobody would ever become a Christian, for how are you going to repent if you do not know right from wrong.
Bu being led of the Spirit is an advantage to do right all the time.

Jn 16:7-11 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin because they believe not upon me; of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged."
2 Cor 7:10 "For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death."
The Holy Spirit reproves the lost of the world for their sin. This reproving brings conviction for their sin and they either respond with a sorrow after the world that leads them to death, or they respond with a godly sorrow that leads them to a repentance not to be repented of. So that, at the least, there is a knowledge of sin while the Holy Spirit is reproving them for not believing upon Jesus. Like mentioned above we all have guilt and many a life has been destroyed by a person who is tormented regarding their wrongs. If you think about it, that very self destruction from guilt and from the consequences of sin; can be what brings a person to the place where they realize that they are helpless and then turn to the Lord for help.

Yep, non Christian know steal is wrong. I believe Holy Spirit speak to non Christian aswell. Secular police and secular law tell them that steal is wrong.
The different between Christian and non is Christian believe refuse Jesus is a sin, non Christian do not believe It.

Yep, I see some moslim helping the poor, that is because their religion teach them. Mormon helping the poor. The only different is they do not have salvation because they do not accept Jesus.
Yep true Christian must be better than non Christian, because true Christian have Holy Spirit in they side.
Some people misunderstod they think true Christian mean elder or pastor, when they see pastor steal, they think Christian not honest.

compassion, kindness. All people everywhere want this. In fact some
non Christians put Christians to shame by their actions.
The difference is Jesus and motives etc.
For example The world says
“I love you as long as you love me back”
“I will do good and tell everyone as I want people to think I’m good”.
Compassion is different many people are moved by things they see into
acts of compassion. But even that has roots in things of self interest.
What interests them and the feel good factor. God can also move ungodly
men and women to act on his behalf. Look at Cyrus in the Old Testament.

Good and compassion should flow from the love of God.

Thanks to the Bible we are given knowledge, yet knowledge is not understanding. In James we are encouraged to pray for wisdom. The Bible tells us what is sin but after praying for years to increase wisdom, the Spirit has explained to me why it is sin. The mind is complex, even moreso than a computer. We are continually downloading information that effects our operating systems, physical, electrical, chemical and...spiritual. The Bible can act as a security program to keep out “viruses”, but just like you need to update your software to keep out new viruses, the lies of the enemy are more advanced and more numerous. Expecting the text written long ago alone to combat centuries of lies and corruption is like taking out a fighter jet with a pellet gun. Praying in the Spirit is like “cleaning your computer” to ensure programs, like your conscience, aren’t compromised. Also the Spirit is continually updating your OS keeping you current. This is the transformation of the mind mentioned at the start of Romans 12.
