Is our problem a serious something or a joke?
If we don’t take seriously Jesus’ words, how can we expect that Jesus care for our predicaments, seeing that they wouldn’t have come about us if we had abide by His words? Several problems aren’t to exist in the life of whom follows Jesus. They are only to unbelievers or infidels.
So, in order to prompt us to be more zealous for Him and His words, many times Jesus allow certain tribulations and makes many people around us:
1 – laugh at your trouble – it is horrible when people disparage us and, instead of helping us, they give us the cold shoulder and behind our backs, they play jokes about us;
2 – mock when our fear comes – it is doleful when we are afraid of something that isn’t a big deal and people starts to mock on us. This wasn’t to happen, inasmuch as:
3 – mock when our fear comes as a wasting away – even when the peril is real, instead of fearing what people fear (contradicting Isaiah 8.12,13; 51.12,13; Jeremiah 10.2; Hebrews 13.5,6), we need to go over the Holy Scripture and to pray incessantly:
If, in fact, we are resting and biding in the presence of Jesus (Psalms 37.7; 91.1), hiding with Him instead of trying to fight with everything and everyone, He will be our armor (Ephesians 6.10-18), whose sword kill our self and keep us safe from all evil (meditate on Psalms 34.7; Psalms 91).
4 – mock when your ruin comes like a tempest – The idea is to make us precious for all situation (Philippians 4.11-13) as gold proven through fire (1Peter 1.6,7). That is to say:
The purport is turn us into more than conquerors (Romans 8.37), that is, capable also of helping people to surmount their challenges with the same solace that Jesus ministered in us (2Corinthians 1.3-5).
5 – mock when trouble and pain come upon you. It’s terrible when we see the glee of someone in virtue of our misfortune. Nonetheless, don’t worry about it. On the contrary: seek in Jesus their salvation, because the end of who loves the curse and the evil is terrible:
But, above all, recall: nothing of this needs to take place. Be sensitive to Jesus and His will for you and experiment gratifying days being moved by the Grace and Power of Jesus Christ.
- “Wisdom cries… because I called, and you refused; I stretched out my hand, and no one paid attention; but you have despised all my advice, and would have none of my warning, I also will laugh at your trouble; I will mock when your fear comes; when your fear comes as a wasting away, and your ruin comes like a tempest; when trouble and pain come upon you.” (Proverbs 1.20,24-27).

- “Yea, he loved cursing, so let it come to him; he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him. As he clothed himself with cursing, as with his robe, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.” (Psalms 109.17,18)
But, above all, recall: nothing of this needs to take place. Be sensitive to Jesus and His will for you and experiment gratifying days being moved by the Grace and Power of Jesus Christ.
