I agree. Walking in the Spirit, for instance, involves making hard choices and decisions that might cost us.

Just adding whats going on . Sins are or can be forgiven .Thus can make one clean for the Holy Spirit to move in . Heres the catch if the holy spirit Does Not Abide ,Then Salvation or new birth Parah is not doing God Work in

Yes Paul did say, "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Phil. 2:12" but he didn't say "for by works you shall be saved". The works based version of the gospel is unbiblical.
Yes, even the opposition agrees with Jesus on that. The question is, why do some find the narrow gate and other never find it?. You know the answer but they don't, because they find it offensive.
God never saved anybody multiple times, the thief on the cross didn't get the chance to backslide and go back to his life of sin. He was saved on the spot, and it's the same with everyone else in the bible. They were all saved immediately.
We need to make the distinction between those who make a false profession of faith and those who are genuine. Those who fall away, were never of us, for if they were they would have remained with us.
Only God knows whom His elect are and who the goats are, most congregations have their fair share of goats among them. We can't always pick them out, but God knows who they are and He allows them to remain in our midst, but He will pluck out the tares by the roots and cast them into the fire at the appointed time.
If you are saved because you say so, then OSAS is not true for you, but if God saved you, then OSAS is guaranteed because God never fails to accomplish anything He sets out to do. The "name it and claim it" version of the gospel is built on sand, it's here today and gone tomorrow.
Salvation happens when Jesus judges us. For some this happens in life even before we die. (Jesus condemnation of the pharisees who blasphemed the Holy Spirit, The theif on the cross, Those who would harm a little one/cause them to stumble etc etc.. Others are judged "On That Day." Mat 7: 21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
This is how it will work for most of us, because remember Salvation is not a work, but a free gift of God. Following plans of salvation, taking sacraments, getting baptized, praying a special prayer, confessing your sins etc etc.. are all works. and again our works do not save us. As Only Jesus can save/He decides who is and who is not Saved. Once this salvation by Christ happens, then we can never loose our salvation.
Maybe we can say, "once we are being saved, God will never fall to complete what he started.? Not sure how to make that into a cool slogan, though.
Parah is instant bear fruit grow .Parah is a first and last Gift. I look at it like this Jesus himself being Anointed As the Anointed Christ
.Jesus went straight to the wilderness and was tempted of The devil. Satan wanted Jesus to abide to his word, like Adam did.This could grant Satan complete authority .So if Jesus Himself is Tempted to Fall then its obviously ,we too can submit to The devil .
I don't like to share this stuff because religious group will try use it against the elect or mod their doctrine. I have seen this before in a Group. They use the once saved always saved theology doctrine.

Sure we can plant and water, but if God doesn't give the increase that seedling will not produce any fruit
From our perspective, we were saved and we are being saved and we will be saved. But from God perspective, it was a done deal before time began. I know many Christians don't like the idea that God can see time from the beginning to the end. They consider it to be an unfair advantage over us mortals.Maybe we can say, "once we are being saved, God will never fall to complete what he started.? I'm glad that God can see from beginning to end. It gives me certainty that God's promises will come to pass no matter what the circumstances may be.

I'm sure you'd agree that God, not only sees the whole of time at once, but He also preordained all things. We can't get our minds around His attributes and His ways are infinitely higher than ours, so they're past finding out.
His Omniscience (All-knowing): God possesses complete, infinite knowledge of the past, present, and future, including the innermost thoughts and secrets of all beings.
His Omnipotence (All-powerful): God holds absolute power and authority, meaning there are no limits to what He can do, provided it aligns with His nature.
His Omnipresence (All-present): God is not bound by space or time; He is fully and actively present everywhere in the universe at all times.
His Omnibenevolence (All-loving/Good): God is the ultimate embodiment of goodness, demonstrating perfect kindness, empathy, and unconditional love toward all creation.
His Sovereignty (Supreme Ruler): God has supreme control over the universe and history, operating as the ultimate authority with a divine purpose.
These are just a few of His attributes, but there are hundreds more we could look at.
