God bless you brothers and sisters,

I was going through a website I found and they were talking about the movie (an abomination) "Transcendence". The author believes it's part of Hollywood's predictive programming techniques to prepare us for a beast supercomputer. The author provides bible verses and talks about Lucifer's 5 I wills.

Transcendence: The Beast Supercomputer is Here!

Could anyone shed some light on this? Can the beast be a supercomputer? Would that be consistent with biblical prophecy?

Thank you and god bless you all

Transcendence wasn't a great movie but it was an interesting What If? scenario, nothing more.
The abomination was that Johnny Depp looked bored out of his skull with the role.

Is the beast a supercomputer?

I think it's safe to say - NO!

Every time a new political figure comes to the fore, someone will wonder if he's going to be the antichrist. Every time a new tracking technology comes along someone speculates whether it might be the mark of the beast. (Spoiler: UPC barcodes, RFID chips, etc so far have not turned out to be the mark.) It gets a bit wearisome after a while.

On a side note: I haven't seen the movie, but Transcendence, the freeware video game, was pretty good. Especially when you get the dual fusionfire howitzers. BOOM!

From the article:
Wally Pfister’s film Transcendence offers us frightful yet colorfully disguised representations of the Beast. Could the Beast Of Revelations really be a supercomputer? Knowing that nothing in the Illuminati controlled Hollywood is an accident, it’s looking like this just might be the case

>Could the Beast Of Revelations really be a supercomputer? Knowing that nothing in the Illuminati controlled Hollywood is an accident, it’s looking like this just might be the case

>>Knowing that nothing in the Illuminati controlled Hollywood is an accident

>>>Illuminati controlled Hollywood

>>>>Illuminati

Nope safe to say nothing in this article is worthwhile. When the illuminati is mentioned in the first paragraph I know I can quit reading because it contains nothing of value.

Yeah my formatting was weak tintin I was mid edit when you quoted...

No worries, mate.

Seriously. I saw the movie Lucy recently. Similar in concept to Transcendence and Akira and many other sci-fi entertainment. They show the dangers of too much technology and too little humanity. If there was a hidden agenda, it would be more subtle.

Hi Tintin,

It's not just the machine taking over and humanity departing... but the symbolism used in the movie as well. The description of the activities used by Will Caster as the computer is consistent with the Beast. Hollywood has been pushing a corrupt satanic worldview our way, it's hard to ignore that

Have you even seen the movie? I have. I think the script writers just take the bollocks from online conspiracy theorists, maybe a few elements from the Bible for added depth and then incorporate these elements into their script. I think this is just a case of using pointed, modern day topics to generate interest and discussion.

I have seen the movie. Maybe the script writers are taking bollocks from the internet, but I suspect they're not since they have had recurring themes in many movies over a long period of time.

in revelation the first beast represents secular empire...the second beast represents apostate religion...

neither has anything to do with supercomputers...

True, they started with it way back in 1984.

I agree, and this is the definition of apostate:

a·pos·tate
əˈpäsˌtāt,-tit/

  • 1.
abandoning a religious or political belief or principle.

In this case Rachel believe second beast is apostate religion. Mean this man abandoning religion.

what kind of religion this man abandoning?

Christian or Hindu or Muslim.

I believe he/antichrist/beast abandoning christian religion or false christian.

I suppose it is plausible, but have you ever considerred that technology and all this stuff could easily end in as little as one day? It has been estimated that it would take as little as 1 EMP detonated in the high atmosphere to pretty much cancel out the entire electrical grid of North America, which alone would be enough to cause a chain reaction shutting down the technological gears of the world.

Plus if one considers the many preceding events in Revelation, I really can't imagine computers still working with massive earthquakes, wars, and stars falling from heaven beforehand among other things.

Good point brother,

1. Revelation said this beast have great authority, is not common people said computer has authority.
2. A human make computer, computer does not exist by is self. So when the bible said the beast/ suppose computer has great authority, mean human who create computer has great authority isn't it?
3. Revelation said every body worship the second beast. People may worship a Idol, but it is not common every body in the entire world worship computer.

I am going to repeat what I believe. The second beast is religious leader who represent God on earth as King of king, or King who rule all king on the earth.

The beast will be a man, and his number will be six hundred three score and six.

It's not a bar code, or rfid chip that is the beasts mark... With these things we are simply looking at the world today and translating it into biblical prophecy... Kinda like how the french thought Napoleon was the antiChrist. Or we thought Hitler was the antiChrist in WW2.... We are doing the same thing with technology today... "It's a super computer"

What a lot of people do is they take this number and run it against everything in every scenario hoping to catch someone or something that fits the bill. Problem with this is: the events of the antiChrist are very well documented in revelations and the antiChrist will fulfill all those events. Remember in biblical prophecy the number is always the secondary meaning. Never the primary, the antiChrists primary definition are the events of revelations.

Just a thought but in the time of revelations there are going to be a few key players... Gog/Magog... 7 kings... False prophet... Maybe only one of these peoples name will equal 666, thus why God had John put the number in there describing the antiChrist.

Un related to this thread:
I am sick and tired of people finding the number 666 everywhere and acting likes it is a pentagram... There is nothing special in the number except in some cases people use it to pay tribute to the antiChrist. But those cases are far and few between.
