not all of revelation is future...for example there is a vision in revelation showing the birth of jesus...
it is a mistake to assume that the entire book shows the future...and it is also a mistake to assume that everything that was in john's future is still in -our- future...
the birth of Jesus? Are you pulling my leg? This is the most asinine stuff I have heard thus far.

The whole problem with the double fulfillment of prophecy though is that the end time invasion of Israel is not the same as the 70 AD event.
For starters in 70 AD Jerusalem and the temple was destroyed, however in the end times Great Tribulation period the temple will not be destroyed it will be defiled instead by the man of sin going inside of it and claiming to be God. Then the false prophet will set up and idol in the temple to the beast (man of sin). This was not done in 70 AD by Titus !!!

Titus did not pilfer the temple, he sent his soldiers into Jerusalem with the strict orders not to destroy the temple so that he could dedicate it to the Roman empire. His soldiers disobeyed his orders and caught the temple on fire burning it to the ground, and therefore the A.O.D. was never set up inside of it in 70 AD.

This is not make believe as Daniel, Jesus, Paul, and John in Revelation all show the A.O.D. is the defiling of the temple by an idol being placed in it.
Daniel 11:31, Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 13:6, 13:14-15 are all parallel passages speaking of the same event.

but the point is the baby is jesus and the birth of jesus happened already!
Very simply Christ at His resurrection defeated death, the power of Satan. He did not remove sin, He did not even change our natures for this life, only for the next. Everything remains the same, except that Satan has been defeated which is what being bound means. He no longer has power over man or this world through death.
You are under the false impression that "being bound" means Satan does not either exist or has no power of deception.
Angels can ascend and descend, unless like Satan and his angels who would be cast out of heaven for good.

Truly you do not understand what being made a new creation in Christ means if you think that we who are born of God still retain the old man of sin nature in the first Adam. Those who are not born again of the Spirit still retain the old nature of sin, and are flesh, carnally minded and are still dead in their sins and trespasses. They are deceived by the power of Satan because they have believed the lie and are of his spirit because they have rejected the Truth about Jesus Christ.

The nature you seem to be referencing is the new relationship with Christ which was made possible by Christ's accomplishment. Having a relationship with man is why we were created. Christ renewed creation by restoring life, and an eternal existence again.
Your explanations still exhibit a total disconnect from the fall and why Christ came in the first place. You seem to think that Christ came to save you as an individual, rather than make it possible for you as an individual to freely choose to enter into a relationship.
Again, you show your misunderstanding of the fall and why Christ came and what He accomplished. Christ renewed the nature of all men. He gave life to all men, to the world. Christ did not save you as an individual, but as part of His whole creation embodied in our physical natures. We became mortal because of Adam's sin. God permitted Satan to have dominion over this world through death. Which is why scripture is so clear on what Christ accomplished by His death and resurrection. It was to defeat Satan and His works. I can assure you that you do not have that new nature in this life. We will all become immortal at the resurrection. That will be the consumation or His resurrection and all death shall end.

Hardly. you are conflating two different aspects of our salvation and its purpose to restore the possibility of a relationship, not only in this life, but for an eternity.
Many believers have fallen and many more will fall before He comes. In fact, scripture is quite clear that many will lose faith in those last days. As long as you can breathe you can be decieved. There is no guarantee that you cannot be deceived.
This is referencing the perfect human being. One that has not only been given life, but has also chosen to enter into a relationship with Christ and to be transformed into the Likeness of Christ.
