I see what you are saying. The world focuses more on the people who inhabit the earth, and the earth is the physical location more when described. When you said planet I thought you meant some new age space mumbo jumbo where you thought life was on other planets would be exempt from an earth judgement or everyone was judged for a world one. My apologies

You have not answered. You have not shown a single verse that says the earth spins or does not spin, that it moves or does not move. You answer crookedly. Stop pretending and make a straight answer even if you do not believe the Bible.

Does the Bible say the earth moves or does the Bible say the earth does not move?

Does the Bible say that? Pretty sure the Bible talks about the sun going around earth rather.

Does the Bible say the earth goes around the sun, or rather does the Bible say the sun moves around earth?

Does the Bible says the earth moves or does not move?

Simple questions, answer honestly and answer with Bible verses even if you don't believe the holy prophets of the living God.

I think this view completely harmonizes with their gotcha verses. Plus, Peter writes that all the elements will be dissolved, and in another place it's written that there will be a new earth. So much for the interpretation that the planet is eternal and fixed in time and space.

Lol Mr. Pckts posted that one for us all ready. A decent verse about how the earth is a circle and God stretcheth out the heavens and spreadeth them out as a tent.

That's a good verse maybe for the topic about what you reckon the shape of the earth and heavens is. At least we're getting a lil bit of Bible in here, slowly. That's unfortunately though not the topic here nor pertaining to the question I asked you.

No. You get to prove your assertion that the earth is a stationary disk. It is established science that it is a spinning ball orbiting the sun. Show me your experiments showing otherwise...or you're just another false prophet in a long line of them.

I never said if it is a disk or not. You all can have that discussion in the other much lengthier topic on this section it seems. You can assume it's whatever shape, disk, ball, triangles even for all I care.

My questions are simply:

Can you show me in the Bible whether the earth moves or does not move?

Can you show me in the Bible whether the sun is in circuit around the earth or the earth in circuit around the sun?

Be honest now. I don't care what your false prophets and arguments from dead men and heretics of science falsely so-called are. I want to see from the true prophets of the true God, hence I ask for the Bible verses.

Do you believe that there is no reference of spinning, revolving, orbiting, etc new age nonsense etc, in The Bible because the people who wrote it were unaware of these "phenomenon"? Do you believe that the limits of their own minds prevented them from capturing God's word accurately?

Though one can use math to know the speed of earth, An object on the Earth's equator travels once around the Earth's circumference this is about 24,901 miles (40,075 kilometres) per day. To calculate speed, divide that distance by 23hr, 56m, 4s to reach the figure of 1,040 mph.

Can you show me in the Bible where they were prophesying about tanks and jet aircraft but used phrases like chariots of fire and whatnot? Or were they literally talking about horse drawn chariots? And based on that are you saying that there isn't symbolism in the Bible using the phrases and words available to them at the time?
