We have original sin ..we have the beast in us ..this test we are in is about following God’s Word or satan’s lie.

Some examples:
- Sign of the Cross rec'd when worshiping a dead man on a Roman cross..
- Islamic Prayer bump rec'd when worshipping to Mecca which houses the Black Stone which is supposedly to turn to a mouth with two eyes (image, perhaps of Muhammad who ordained it) that will advocate for you on the day of judgement


People had to receive these marks especially during the middle ages or risked death. Rev 13:15 fulfilled.

Why is anyone expecting a third physical Temple?

2 Thessalonians 2 is why.

St. Peters Bascilica in Rome, built on the supposed grave of St. Peter. It is St. Peter on the Crucifix in this Roman Temple to St. Peter.
Instead of the temples in Rome or Greece built to Jupiter or Zeus, St. Peters Bascilica is a Temple to St. Peter.
Inside is St. Peters Chair. The pope claims apostolic succession via St. Peter.
The pope claims to be successor of St. Peter.
The pope also claims many other things. He has taken his seat (St. Peter's Chair) in the Temple claiming to be God.
The pope claims to be:

-High Priest (Pontifex Maximus)
- Supreme Judge of the Faithful
- Lawgiver
- King

and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

the eighth is in my thinking the one paul was talking about and this really is what I believe we’re seeing in revelation the spiritual view of this subject matter

For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;

because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

I believe the dragon , the anti christ ( eighth king ) and the false Church or prophet which some say the other beast who comes from the earth. Is the strong delusion in the world because people refuse to accept and find a love in the gospel

lol yes I gathered that you are thinking along the same lines I think that’s why I’m comfortable discussing freely with you .

I think the best way for me to learn is to discuss it’s sometimes hard because people look at it as teaching or something when it’s just thought and discussion . I think disuccion helps lead to new thoughts that help at least me understand a bit better .

who would you say the woman with the man child is ? That could help us determine what that verse means

if we looked at the woman it might help who do you think the woman with a crown of twelve stars and clothed with the sun and moon ? She’s expecting a “man child “ who was established before to rule all the earth with a rod of iron ?

I think regarding the time period of the two witnesses and then the time period of the beast an equal amount of time 3 and a half years . Measured by days , times , months but always 3 and a half years i don’t believe it’s literal but I do believe it sends us to further knowledge elsewhere in scripture

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise:

and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:

and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Daniels vision shows us more detail and further brings the revelation into view

that part of Daniel is meant to show us more Meaning to other prophecy regarding the same subject matter if we take it all in it helps us understand

And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

This is true of most all prophecy and revelation Ezekiel , Isaiah , zechariah all like Daniel see things and subject matter that johns revelation puts together into a picture of things we could never know without Gods word and faith to believe

So in revelation we read this strange out of place seemingly phrase

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.”

to say they are the two olive trees and two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth , doesn’t make sense in the context of johns vision alone .

but if we take in Zechariahs vision also about the same subject matter we see why John made the statement he made

“And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

..Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

so then the two witnesses begin to have a foundation of understanding in the ot prophetic word and then reality made known through the gospel when the lord came and revealed himself on earth

And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah:

Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.”

Moses witness is the law and elijahs is the prophets whos witness is of Christ

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And ye are witnesses of these things.”

Elijah has power to shut up the heaven so that it didn’t rain for three and a half years , and Moses had the power to send plagues on earth and turn water to blood

I believe that other scripture identifies or interprets scripture especially with revelation
