Well, here I am again posting on the fourms a simple noobie..

I have a boyfriend his name is Ethan and hes um..six years older than me, we have so much in common I feel like he's my other half litterly. I know their are alot of people who have things in common but with Ethan its just diffrenet. Its like where one in the same. We never fight and its been a good...3 years. I mean I've prayed to god for a man just like him and I want to know if hes the one God sent to me.

So to get to the point: Is their such thing as a Soul Mate when it comes to God?

Also this isnt concerning the Soul Mate thing but I just want to know you oppion on it :

Is it normal for a male to say he wants to marry you and you only been together in 3 years?

I just want to know if were going ot fast, if I should tell him to slow it down...I mean for me I'm over joyed, beaming really.

I believe there is such a thing as a soul mate when it comes to God. It takes some of us a lifetime to find that special someone in our lives. I truly believe that there is someone for everyone in whatever circumstance that may be.

It's kind of hard to put a time frame on relationships given that each one is unique in its own way. I'm assuming the '3 yr question' is in reference to your relationship. In that case, if you're not ready for marriage but you're more than content to just be together and see how things continue to develop, then I'm certain he'll understand. I wouldn't try to over analyze it as you may very well be doing and just allow it to run it's course. If you're confident that he's the guy for you and you are the woman for him, it'll all work out.

I do definitely believe in soul mates. I was once married to mine. We never fought in the beginning. I messed it all up and now I dont have him anymore, but I still talk to him and he knows we were the best for each other. Things are complicated now and we live in different states with different lives. If we would have had God in our lives then. We definitely would still be together but unfortunely we didnt and it fell apart. You know when its true you definitely can feel it.

I believe there are soulmates, yes.

3 years is a long time to be together, but 19 is awfully young to consider marriage. I married at 18 and while I never regretted the marriage, I do wish I had waited a bit because I learned that most of us are not the same people at 19 that we will be even as few as 5 years later. It's important for us to know who WE are before we agree to become one with someone else.

:)

God bless!

Does true love between two individuals exist to such an extend that they feel literally as part of the other one's soul. Yes.

Two questions: Why are you doubting? Second: What took him so long? Or is perhaps that he was waiting for you to finish with school?

I do not believe in the concept of a "soul mate", this term is not Biblical.

People tend to get very carried away with this new age teaching.

Question 2 :He was waiting for me to finish collage~
and im doubting because when he told me he wanted to marry me, I wasnt exspecting it. He personality if you meet him, you would never exspect him to be the type to want to stay with one person.

I would agree with the no basis for soulmate. There is no biblical justification for it that I've ever seen. I'm happy to be proven wrong.

3 years??? Hehehe... know some people who are also Christians who have married less than 4 mths of knowing each other lol... Id say thats pretty long... but i think 19 is still a a bit early... I'd get into your 20's before befoer i'd do that... hahaha...
