Why does a good single guy have to be willing to relocate to Maryland?

What if he's established where he's at, holding down a good job or life long career, but not in Maryland?
Would you be willing to relocate to where he is?

He also partook of passover, so He ate pasture raised lamb before He gave His own body for the sins of the world. It's interesting that He fulfilled the law when He, the lamb that taketh away the sins of the world said, It is finished, and gave up the ghost.

What did the Lord say to Peter later in Acts 10?

10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. 17Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

Then he preached to the Italian soldiers led by Cornelius the good news..

38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. 39And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; 41Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. 42And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. 43To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

And not only that, He cooked/ate fish even after His resurrection! (John 21:9-13 and Luke 24:42-43)

This thread reminds me of a friend of mine from 20 years ago. Patty....she lived in Maryland just outside of DC.

God bless her....she was a very great friend. Proposed marriage in our first message to each other. ROFL....she was fun. She eventually married a Canadian friend and they had a full and wonderful life up in Canada until he died. She's a widow now dealing with his kids and trying to settle/tame his property and estate.

She came to visit me once in Nashville with about 5 others for a meet-up of forum members. It was a fun trip too. I of course took my son up there to DC. We tramped around for a day.

Fun fun stuff.
Good times.
 
Maryland is the only US state without a natural lake!

So no fishing either!

Technically you are right about Virginia, which was named in honor of Queen Elizabeth I because she was known as the virgin Queen.

But the state obviously doesn’t carry her name.

Georgia was named after King George.

North and South Carolina were named after King Charles

Louisiana was named after King Louis XIV of France.
