I'm not going to flat out, call you a prevaricator..... people can read your words for themselves. But I will say that the Bible tells me that none of us quits sinning, and that includes you.

I suggest reading "Hyper-Grace: Exposing the Dangers of the Modern Grace Movement" by Dr. Michael L. Brown. Not saying you have to agree with all or any of what he writes, but he presents a case against hyper-grace and its contemporary proponents.
Just don't respond. The problem comes when you are on a non hyper grace thread and the slop starts spilling into it...
I guess that's where the term 'sloppy agape' came from. LOL

Hey I for one am happy about the multiple hyper-grace threads, because at lest there is a new topic at hand to discuss then OSAS false doctrine.

Well, since you do sin, I guess that means you feel you are not born of God?

In a recent CharismaNews article, Dr. Michael Brown confronts what he calls the “dangerous error” of the hyper-grace movement. He describes the foundational doctrines of this movement as follows; (1) we have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus, (2) all our sins have been forgiven, (3) the Holy Spirit never convicts believers of sin, and (4) we need never repent for nor confess our sins.
Although I would qualify the last point, Dr. Brown has done a fair job summarizing the gospel that we in the grace movement proclaim. (Some movement – it’s 2000 years old!) Those who are united with Christ are just as holy and righteous as he is (1 Cor 1:30); God dealt with our sins once and for all on the cross (Heb 10:12); and consequently the Holy Spirit remembers our sins no more (Heb 10:17).
As for repentance and confession, the Bible tells us that these words mean different things to different people. Repentance in the old covenant meant turning from sin but repentance in the new means turning to God.
As the Pharisees showed, you can turn from sin until you’re dizzy but it won’t make you righteous. However, you cannot turn to God without leaving your old life behind.

That's terrible advice, because everything Michael Brown addresses isn't being proposed by the "modern grace movement." Its like setting up a straw man and tearing it down, that is what that book is. He shares a misconception of hyper-grace and tries to refute it, yet grace preachers aren't preaching what he accuses them of. I suppose that's why this book was written...

Well, it was just a suggestion anyhow without knowing anyone's personal reading list. But I'm curious, has it been openly discussed that "almost everyone" has already read this book or are you assuming it?

The context here in these two passages is about continuous habitual sin, not the struggling Christian or the times we stumble (sin) but then return to walking in the Light.
No, Dr. Brown's ideas have been hashed back and forth a lot here. He is sort of you guy's Joseph Prince, I guess.
