Redtent I appreciate your comments and insight. It is about Kingdom. God's Kingdom laws to live by. The sum total of all of God's Kingdom laws can be understood with one word, Agape. Love, real Love of God not this carnal interpretation that has been confused with sex.

Praying in circles? It is pagan indeed. I find this amazing. Islam goes in circles around the Kaaba stone in Mecca. That stone is their idol. Most of them kiss the black meteorite stone that fell from the sky before Islam was Islam. What else is so unique about all of this is that Muslims say there is no other God but Allah and they will not worship any idols. You know. The idol they go round and round called the Kaaba in Mecca. And they complain at us for praying in front of a cross that Jesus is hanging on. That's idol worshiping and blasphemous yet it is OK to go in circles around the Kaaba and kiss it. Wow.

I believe that casting spells in the Wiccan religion is very important.

All sounds a bit hokey this Circle thing, but so does much of orthodox Christianity to be honest 
Soon they'll be making up an anti-God called the Deceiver.

I read concerns over The Circle Maker and the concept of the circle. As I read the book, the story of Honi makes a point about praying with commitment applying one of God's promises to a specific need or person. There is nothing magical about the circle - it is an identifier to the concept of praying with commitment and expectation. For Honi, a sacrifice, that of mobility until God responded. He planned to pray continually until God brought rain. If more Christians prayed with that confidence, think what mountains God would move, how He would be glorified, and how our world would change.
I believe it honors God to pray with commitment and even sacrifice expecting God to act according to His promises. John 15:7 states "7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." Paul writes to the church in Thessalonica "16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Going to the Source, Jesus teaching is revealed in Matthew 6 and Matthew 7:7-11. In Matthew 7:11, He says "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Mark Batterson, in his book, stresses the importance of defining life goals lined up with God's Word and Will and defining specific needs and people to pray over asking God to respond according to His promises. Many of us forget to answer a key question for God: What do you want me to do for you? God is honored by specific requests, especially those humanly impossible requests that honor and glorify Him. Whether praying for healing or provision, many fail to remember the power of prayer and the confidence of believing God's promises to answer prayers of the righteous believer.
In addition, Mark Batterson suggests using a prayer journal to document our prayers. This is a great idea documenting what we asked so we can see His answers over time. We, as humans, so quickly forget and miss God's miracles.

I know that it has be a long time since anyone has posted on this thread, but I would like to give reason to think about this...
We as christians do many things that have a PAGAN foundation. Such as: Easter & Christmas, not the Jesus part of corse, but many christians practice in the other things that go along with both of these events. I thought that I would not when I had children the whole santa stuff, but give meaning to the gift giving as God gave His Son. But as you begin to look into some of the other small traditions we do during these Christian events, you will find that many of them come from pagan beginings. Such as: my favorite, decoration of the christmas tree is a great example, or how about the date of christmas, not the real day Christ was born on but again began from a pagan worship. Eggs at Easter, wonder why, well they come from pagan worshiping, the sexual desire to be fertile, and what else but bunnies to be that symbol. There are many others that is just a few.
What is at the the heart?? I pray that someone who maybe led by man and his limited understanding of God will seek God and be surprised, we do not understand God's ways, if God tells you not to, He still can tell me to, the same Spirt directs both, but God is the one to know the heart.

This passage strikes me. How do we determine Jewish fable from true stories in the OT? Not saying that the OT isn't true (please don't get me wrong). How do we know that some of the stories in the OT aren't Jewish fable???
Eh, im not very good at drawing circles, they always come out oval and never link up. Im glad my Father doesnt require this of me lol

Stick with the Bible which are the words of God, and you will be safe. What does God say about prayer? Does the Bible mention anything about standing in a circle to pray? No it does not. Read the Bible, not the words of men.

Anything that causes you to take your faith off of the work of the cross is sin. You can have a Christmas tree and put gold nettles on it or you hunt golden eggs only if our are founded in the work of the cross. The circle thing is self help, if we could help our self, then we don't need the cross. The only way we can help our self is to trust in what Jesus did at the cross and yield to the Holy Spirit and ask for what we need and ( and His will in our life and others) that's it. Oh and have faith that He will do what He promises.
You can try penance ( or law) but I found that to be quite laborious and with no result.
