Some people take prayer for granted. They have forgotten that prayer is communicating with GOD. Because they take prayer for granted, they pray in haste. They make hurried prayers. How can they be talking to their Heavenly FATHER in haste? Is this right? Can you talk to your president or your boss or your earthly father in haste? How much more of our Heavenly FATHER who is greater than all of them and greater than all things!

My dear, set yourself to pray like this often-earnestly, fervently, passionately and intensely with faith; and watch yourself move from one level of glory to another, as you walk in the supernatural everyday of your life.

Glory to GOD forever.
Thank You LORD JESUS for teaching us always.
 
God has given you a beautiful awareness. Seems you have already answered this question. :)

However, here is my input:

Phillippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

If Christ too was patient, how much more are we to be patient as led to follow Him in all His ways?

I feel the Holy Spirit slowly take control of prayer more and more, when I yield to God and be patient in prayer.
Does God listen to our prayers in haste? I think He listens to all when they surrender in the moment to his majestic presence. However, when I pray in haste..it does not feel like it is prayed in spirit and truth. For the Spirit is patient, and when I am not imitating the Spirit of Christ..what then am I imitating? A quality of the world? It does not feel good nor loving when I pray in haste. Patience bears good fruit in our hearts and leads us to a greater understanding of the love of the Father, in Christ Jesus.

All haste I have felt, has been the result of many things I have observed:
-Carelessness to spend time with our Father
-Fear
-Selfishness to pursue worldly things
-An unfocused mind before the presence of the Almighty
-A lack of awareness of the qualities of God that we are told to imitate, as was imitated in our Lord Christ Jesus, for He WAS, and IS, and IS to come

Haste just always feels wrong. In everyday life, I try to do all things in patience, for in haste..I just feel the Spirit burdened, though God bears all things with us. God's timing is perfect, and patience makes our faith strong.

Even now I feel hasty for some reason, and it feels unpleasant to me. It just doesn't feel natural to us who are born of God. Anyways, I feel I kinda overdid this one.
 
All I want to say,
is that many but many people
pray only when they want some helps...
They never pray to be thankful or something like that,
they consider God as a ''stand-in''
in French we call stand-in : un bouche trou.
Anyway I'll post something to share.
