Is your wisdom giving fruit?
• Pro 14:24 -> “The crown of the wise is their riches of wisdom; the foolishness of fools is folly.”.
One of the things that's been making me very upset lately is the callousness of doctors. I know that every professional who works with diligence, honesty, competence, has the right to earn a necessary amount so that they can live a life with dignity.
Nevertheless, how many people suffers with diseases in virtue of not having sufficient money to pay the great amount demanded by the doctors. For you getting a simple information or recipe that can save one life, or you pay or suffer until die.
Let’s think: what is the utility of the wisdom if it isn’t to change and save lives? The crown of the wise is the riches which they acquire through the wisdom? And what is the greatest wealth? The Truth (Prov 2:3-5; 3:13-15), the testimony of Jesus in our life and through our life, Jesus’ people (see Zec 13:9).
What is the importance of getting knowledge if this doesn’t approach us of Jesus and His people, if this doesn’t make us more useful for Jesus in favor of His people?
The Holy Scripture is clear:
• Ecc 7:11,12 -> “*Wisdom is good with an inheritance*; but it is gain to those who see the sun. For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense; but the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it.”.
The wisdom only is good is it allow us inherit people, bring gain to those who see the sun.
Unfortunately, the fear of the Creator has being overlooked, hampering them of getting the following promise:
• Isa 33:6 -> “And He will be the security of your times, and strength of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; *the fear of Jehovah is his treasure*.”.
Jesus calls the rich a fool who only cared about increasing his wealth (Luke 12:19,20). Regrettably, the truth is:
• Pro 27:22 -> “Though you should pound a fool in a bowl with a bar in the midst of wheat, his foolishness will not depart from him.”.
So, have a good day using your wealth to gain souls (Prov 11:30). Be your crown the life of people who thank to the Creator for your freely expressed submission to the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of the fellowship toward them and toward all because of the exceeding grace of Jesus on you (2Cor 9:12-14).
