First and foremost, because through Jesus, we are grafted into the Israelite community. Second, most scholars agree that a good portion of the lost 10 tribes are the modern day Europeans, so if your of European descent, your probably aiding your cousins. Third, if your a praying Christian, one who is sensitive to the spirit, there is a good chance God has put it upon your heart to help them in some way, even if it is prayers, not financial aid. Fourth, having them as allies in the middle east is beneficial to America. Fifth, if you are not helping them in some way, then your helping the Muslims.

No idea why this isn't in the News forum, but sure we should. We give money to all our Most Friendly Nations. I don't quite get it, but that was started when we became a nation. It makes nation trust us because we invest in them. The first thing America did when we declared our independence was give and take money from the Netherlands and France.

Why not Israel? They may be the only stabilized nation in the Middle East, so isn't it good to be friends with them?

Hard to believe but $4 billion is petty cash when it comes to the Feds spending.
