I Will Love Them Freely,

God is speaking to those who ran from Him, who fell
into backsliding. Their iniquities became unbearable
in their wayward wanderings and God was calling them
back as He always does. Still some resign to eternal
punishment and begin to fear the Lord and stay as
far from Him as they can. But God is saying come to
me and repent. I love you and do not be afraid I will
heal you. Do not abandon me; start over and there
will be redemption for you. God reaches out far past
what we can imagine in forgiving others in our own
lives. Once we set our wrath on someone, woe be to
them forever. But our God is a God of forgiveness,
there is no end to His love for us, the entire scripture
bears that out. For us to sit around wallowing in our
failures is really not trusting God and of course, His
ways are higher than our ways. So we come back to
Him but it is necessary to repent, to clean ourselves
up and to start over. In starting over, we surrender
our will to His will and follow Him rather than try to
lead Him. For example, we cannot say Lord, I will
love you if you do this or that or whatever for me. It
is necessary to love Him with all our heart and to do
what He calls us to do. We need to be still, we need
to listen to Him and be with Him always.
