I'm amazed that this guy can breath from the bottom of this dog pile. Just to preempt how he might respond to that.....it's God that gives him strength.
Palestine is not oppressing Israel.
Stop and listen to yourself. You are making excuses for the slaughter of innocent people. Are you so hard heartened? Do you have no compassion?
Quoting Old Testament prophecy that has NOTHING to do with Christians or the Church is not helping your anti-Israel and anti-semitic and pro-terrorist mis-information and belief system. You remain in error...even when you quote Scripture because you quote out of CONTEXT and make it "fit" into your "twisted" belief system concerning Israel.
Tell me please, when was the Church "in bondage in the land of Egypt"? And when did God lead the Church out of Egypt?
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jeremiah 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
The New Covenant is NOT fulfilled in the church; it plainly says the New Covenant belongs to "the house of Israel" (Hebrews 8:10). The book of Hebrews refers to the New Covenant to show that the Mosaic system was only temporary and that even the Old Testament promised that one day it would be abolished and replaced by another covenant. The writer of Hebrews indicates that every New Testament believer (born again Christian) partakes of the spiritual blessings of the New Covenant through Christ, but there is one Scripture in the entire Bible where God says that the New Covenant has been transferred from national Israel to the church. The Apostle Paul taught that the New Covenant will be literally fulfilled following the church age (Romans 11:25-27).when Jesus took the cup of atonement during his last Passover supper, they were celebrating God's salvation from Egypt and when Jesus said drink this cup in remembrance of me and when he said this bread is my body, he was making a direct link for him being the final pascal lamb -- for God saves us from the bondage of sin, just as he saved Israel from slavery in Egypt
we Christians -- you and I -- are the heirs of God's promise to Abraham
Here is Amos 5:26-27...Wrong! the six pointed star has been the symbol of Saturn and the occultic symbol of the jews since the days of ancient Israel. The occultic side of Israel had to hide until now.
You're right Linda sometimes my spelling needs correcting just as my life does.Amen Bro. Fishbait!
Did you mean the "wrath" of God in that last sentence? You said the "raft" of God.
Here is Amos 5:26-27...
Amos 5:26-27 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.
Now, please explain to us where God said that star in the passage above had six points? Also, tell us where it says that it was the Star of Saturn.
The truth is, it is not there. You have to add to God's Word in order to make that star six-pointed and the Star of Saturn.
I am curious as to which versions you say use the word "remphan" in them for Amos 5:26-27? I have 60+ on my Bibleworks and there is only one version that uses anything close... the Septuagint uses "Raephan"Other translations say the star of remphan. The star if remphan is the star of Saturn. The star of Saturn is a six pointed star, where the star of Venus, or Lucifer is a five pointed star. The book of acts also quotes this passage and more often is translated as remphan
So yes, it I there if you take the passage in context
Yes and so the Christian Palestinian Churches eventually get torched by the 'religion of peace' too.Around 50% of Palestinian Christians belong to the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem, one of the 16 churches of Eastern Orthodoxy. This community has also been known as the Arab Orthodox Christians. There are also Maronites, Melkite-Eastern Catholics, Jacobites, Chaldeans, Roman Catholics (locally known as Latins),Syriac Catholics, Orthodox Copts, Catholic Copts, Armenian Orthodox, Armenian Catholic, Quakers (Friends Society), Methodists, Presbyterians, Anglicans(Episcopal), Lutherans, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Nazarene, Assemblies of God, Baptists and other Protestants... wikipedia

What you fail to recognize and understand is the fact that God is NOT finished with the nation of Israel and that His covenants and promises to that nation are unconditional and eternal. The Church inherits the "spiritual blessings" of the New Covenant through faith in Christ...but the national and physical land blessings given to Abraham and his physical descendants (through Isaac, not Ishmael) are not inherited or fulfilled in the Church. It's your hardness of heart against the nation of Israel that has blinded you from this truth.

In the KJV, Acts 7:43 mentions "Remphan", but according to the interlinear it simply means idol... not star.
According to the interlinear, the star mentioned in Acts 7 was not a drawing of a six-pointed star, but a constellation in the night sky.
In other words, the star mentioned in Amos 5 was not the six-pointed star on Irael's flag today.
