The ministry is a calling, not a job .. It is a privilege, not an imposition. We are called to serve the Lord . " But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace " (Gal 1:15). What but God called us to serve Him?
My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him and to be His ministers and burn incense.
2 Chronicles 29:11
Our calling is to be a minister of Jesus Christ and that is everyone who have received salvation by grace through faith . The identity of the Christian manifests itself in the service that naturally flows from the love of God in our hearts to minister to the needs of others , whether believers or not.
"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." ( Edmund Burke) ... Taking this thought to the purely spiritual and cibaeño context , we could paraphrase it as follows . " All you need the devil to get away with it , is that men of God remain with arms crossed ."
It is our decision , or create a armies of men and women willing to take the gospel of good, or let the forces of evil from taking over our children, our businesses , our health and our society ..
People of God is our duty as authentic Christians bring to the world the teachings of Christ , it is our duty to establish the Kingdom of God, we do not cross arm .. Serve the Lord with gladness . We are ministers of the best ministries. We are all ministers in the body of Christ. Joshua say " ... me and my house we will serve the Lord " (Joshua 24.15 )
