As a believer, one who was forgiven of all sins, it should be easy for you to forgive, but now I say to you that you GO AND ALSO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. If someone has something against you, go to THEM and ask for forgiveness. God will not hear you until you have cleared this issue up. It is easy to ask the Lord to forgive you, but if you have not forgiven others, or released them of their guilty conscience toward you, then they might be hardened to hell.
This is what I mean; if you remember that there is something between you and someone else, EVEN IF YOU MAY HAVE BEEN RIGHT, go and make peace with them, or else this may turn around and condemn you. Go and release them of their anger toward you, to possibly save their souls from hell because of bitterness. Satan wants more than anything to use your own pride to condemn others, and what will Jesus say about that?
And here is a more pure way, and this is good to learn. IF YOU HAVE SECRETLY SAID ANYTHING AGAINST YOUR NEIGHBOR GO AND TELL THEM WHAT YOU SAID AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. IF YOU HAVE LIED TO YOUR NEIGHBOR, GO AND TELL THEM THAT YOU HAVE LIED TO THEM. In this way you can be protected from condemnation of the Devil. May Jesus bless you.
