Song 2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.
Song 2:17 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
Song 3:1 By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
Song 3:2 I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
Song 3:3 The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?
Song 3:4 It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.
Song 3:5 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

Here is what Jesus says about YOU when you give your whole heart and mind to him right now:

Song 4:6 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.
Song 4:7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.
Song 4:8 Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.
Song 4:9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
Song 4:10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!
Song 4:11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.
Song 4:12 A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.
Song 4:13 Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,
Song 4:14 Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:
Song 4:15 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.
Song 4:16 Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.
Song 5:1 I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

Song 5:2 I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.
Song 5:3 I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?
Song 5:4 My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him.
Song 5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.
Song 5:6 I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.
Song 5:7 The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.
Song 5:8 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am love sick for him.

Here is what we say about him to others:

Song 5:10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.
Song 5:11 His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.
Song 5:12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.
Song 5:13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.
Song 5:14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.
Song 5:15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.
Song 5:16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

Song 6:3 I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.
Song 6:4 Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners.

Song 7:9 And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.
Song 7:10 I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me.

O my
know how someone explores the roof of your mouth?
This is intimate love every thought every action every wish every hope open he sees it all
and he says
you are beautiful my love
this is the relationship w=for eternity

If someone asks this lady
Do you really have a husband?
Is there really a God?
The answer is
Yes. Ohhhhhh yes, yes, yes there is a God Oh yes!

Song 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
Song 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

I am my beloved's and his desire is toward me...

Song 3:2 I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.
Song 3:3 The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?
Song 3:4 It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go,

Oh, happy Shabbat I can't wait for Shabbat...
I am my beloed's and he is mine.
Come ye to the waters,

here is the invitation for now...
Isa 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Isa 55:2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
Isa 55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
Isa 55:4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Isa 55:5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
Isa 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Isa 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
Isa 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isa 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isa 55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Isa 55:13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

Bless the Eternal, O my soul
Let all that is within me bless his holy name

ok BLESS means to KNEEL
yes another pagan twist to hide true worship
How do you bless God?
the word BARAK means to KNEEL and recieve his blessing

now it makes sense

let me say it again now

Kneel before the Eternal, O my sould, let all that is within me kneel before his holy name. Knell before the Eternal O my soul and recieve his holy spirit!

amen!
lke a knight nkneels before the king, when we praise him and kneel he "knights" us with his sword the word of God and we are filled with holy spirit.

now search the Psalms for the word BLESS or BLESSED and put in
"kneel before and recieve his holy spirit grace"
wherever we bless him

when he blesses us
then we put in
Recieve his holy spirit on your knees
and I know your sabbath will be rich!
Hallelujah!

When you read a psalm lke psalm 103 (every Sabbath) then afterwards say
Glory! Hallelujah! Amen! out loud and kneel quickly to recieve the GUARANTEED outpouring of the holy spirit and it will just wash over you like a flood

it is wonderful when we do as He says he bleses and blesses and blesses and the relatiohnship Bigins!

happy Sabbath
I have to go to work now.
Love you all.

Hope you are feeling better.:) I am ashamed to admit that I have been coasting for a few years in this freedom of just believing in Jesus and not doing so much about it. I was raised to believe like some here. Now I'm studying sincerely and see the error of my ways. I know I am saved by the grace of God, I want to be pleasing to Him too. It's why I visit threads like these, I want to learn more of the old ways, since I've been a Sun worshiper unaware. Grace and peace in Christ.:)
A day of total rest surely recharged this old battery. I haven't come to experience this freedom from the world's bondage until six years ago. I've been a "new testament" Christian for over 20 years. Thank Yahweh He opened my eyes to see wonderful things in His law. I hope you'd find it a delight rather than a burden because I sensed "work" in your post - I could be entirely wrong. Sabbath is made for man to enjoy in Him.

Isn't it strange how bible truths become lies if they are listened to without also listening to other truths that apply!! To work becomes a lie if we don't also know grace. To know grace becomes a lie if we also don't know obedience, or work. We could go on and on with the truths that our Lord gives us.

I love all these loving and encouraging posts, glad to be blessed to hear what you all have to say about it. This Sabbath rest has been tugging at my heart a few months now, cos somewhere in my heart the scripture was there "God said.." I know my understanding will grow provided I let God lead me, and to answer as best I can how I think about how I should approach this, Jesus said about laws, "if a man thinks in his heart' (paraphrased) the law (covered by) grace through faith, and so I see the law (10 commandments) as the doing, and Jesus gave the only sacrifice acceptable, and knows my heart and thoughts so, it won't be a burden, more a pleasure. Today was my first testing the waters of Sabbath Rest and it has been a joy. :)

I hear you. Unfortunately not too many see, or willing to see both sides.

I didn't see it, or maybe i was afraid to see it and didn't let myself know, (listen) It all comes down to the heart I guess.

It's an acquired taste. Frankly it was a burden for me when I first started and at times I eagerly wanted it to be over so I could do my own things. It was before I learnt the true meaning of sabbath and tried to "work" it out. Now it seems too short at times.

You've made me realized that I have a long way to go with the relationship. Thanks

Sometimes I think of what might have been...if only I'd done as the Spirit was gently nudging me to do. I wonder if we can ever know what gifts our Jesus had stored up for us, gifts that remain unopened because we were willful? But I won't think on that too long, 'cause today's a might fine day!My cup runneth over!

I understand. Just happens this is a perfect time for me to adjust to it, so I'm excited. Guess though if I had obligations, little ones/Sat. job it would be more of a challenge. I'd been feeling "stuck" in my relationship with God, can't explain it, like I'd gotten to the end of a road and need to clear a path in front of me or something. I just gradually became aware of what was bothering me. I'm so excited!!!

Consider a blessing you don't have to work on sabbath. I know a fellow Christian who so wanted to observe sabbath but couldn't all the time because she's on shifts or she must quit her job - and her faith is not that great as yet. Another one had her work hours cut by more than half because she doesn't want to work on sabbath.
All we could do is pray so Yehwah could save them from slavery in this world system. Who says we are not slaves?
Mind you we don't belong to a "church". We are just some like-minded Christians gathering together.

Revelation 14:12 KJV
(12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
