its sad to see that alot of Christian youth nowadays are more interested in Church activities than studying God's words they becoming activity oriented.

" He who walks with th wise men will b wise, but th companion of fools will suffer harm." (Pro 13:20)
This can apply to youth groups today. Youth being together w/o parents is causing harm to th youth. They aren't walking w/ wise men (adults) they're walking w/ each othr (companion of fools). Not that youth group r alwys a bad thing. It is just not teaching th youth to put away there foolishness and join adulthood. This could possibly b th root to th youth wanting activities ovr th mighty Word of God.
Church activities can be a good thing for evry1, but th major excessiveness in th churches isn't. Why? Because it is turning th attention to worldly desires instead of godly desires. Th church is satisfying th flesh more than th spirit. And is probably th reason for th great fall of youth. As a church th concern should b for their souls, not their flesh. Of course youth want fun and games instead of th Bible. But which contains a more lasting satisfaction and fulfillment? Which saves their soul from torment? Why is this allowed so greatly in churches today?
This is sad and I pray that someone would fix this terrible condition of th modern day church, before more souls r loss to it...

Youth groups should have fun and games but they should be balanced properly with quality study of the Bible and discussions of topics relevant to the teenage life eg. how live your faith.

I really do not see what is wrong with christian youths getting together and having clean wholesome fun. I would think parents would prefer their children to be around other christian youths, engaging socially and having good fun together than running the streets doing drugs and getting pregnant.
Our youth need places to bond with other young people in safe enviroments. Sure, have a bible study. I think there should be bible studies for christian youths, with teachings that directly impact their lives as young people. No problem with that....
it just seems whenever christians actually try to have some fun, there are always party poopers out there squashing it.
Just a fyi, fun and sin are totally different.
