A Blessed Sabbath to all of you!

God made the 7th day special from the very beginning of time. He set it apart.
We are now entering into the 7th day of the week, and I am choosing to set it apart from all other days of this last week. This truly is a day to rejoice and remember that God set us apart from the world. just as He set this day apart as a sign of His creation and Kingdom, so we set this day apart as an expression of our love and devotion for Him.

So to those of you keeping the Sabbath today, Rejoice! Our God is Magnificent, Loving, Merciful, Gracious, Powerful, Sovereign, Caring, Strict, Forgiving, Omnipotent, Eternal, Real, Personal and Incredible. (For those of you not celebrating the Sabbath today, it's OK. You can rejoice in those same things too! ;))

There is nothing more important than Him, and He is worthy of our praise. So on this day, Praise Him in absolutely everything you do.
Every breath.
Every thought.
Every word.
Every prayer.
Every act.

Don't just say to yourself and others, "I choose to worship Him today." Actually do it, and take an inventory throughout the day to see if you are. Have mercy and grace for yourself when you fall short, just as He has mercy and grace for us when we fall short. But get back up on the horse again and try again!

You guys are awesome, and it's a blessing to know that all over the world, people are sitting down at their own sundown and setting apart this day for God and for nothing else. That encourages me to the very depths of my soul.

Shabbat Shalom! A blessed, peaceful and anointed Sabbath to you all!

Matt
