Please pray for me I do believe in God but ever since my dog died my praying has gone from a little to none. My old ways are coming back and I can see my life has taken a turn for the worst. Do you think the lord will forgive me for my absence and for my sins and do you think its possible to get my strong sense of belief back again I really hope so as I feel so alone and I also feel something bad is on its way to me.
 
The Lord always forgives his children when they turn back to him and ask for forgiveness. You need to sit down with your heavenly father and pour out your heart to him. Read the psalms David told the lord everything about how he felt and ask for the Lords help. Return to the Lord and he will return to you.

Praying for your faith and peace.
 
Definitely. Just keep praying and keep hoping. The door will be opened for you.
 
Remember the tale of the prodigy son? He sure messed up quite bad, but when he returned, his father threw a great party.
Jesus also said that the shepherd will leave the flock to go looking for the sheep that went astray.

Cry out to Him, and in His time He will guide your steps back. Just allow Him to.
 
We may often give up on God but know that He never gives up on us. I think He can handle one of our tantrums once in a while. But...seek Him! And don't give up seeking Him. It could be a while before you hear from the Spirit. If you seek Him He'll be right where He was before! He walks beside us...and when turn to the right or the left I think He just stops where we turned off and waits for us to return.

BoBo.... I noticed something about your post. You said ....You
turned away from the Lord. Those are truthful words, and in my
opinion, I find that the beginning of your wanting to find your way
back. He never left you, He is right there with you. Honestly ?
I think you are going through depression. You have had a loss and
grief can make us do strange things. We will pray for you and believe
you will begin to find your way back. I did the same thing at one
time. At least you recognize your need, that says... I love the Lord
God and I am desiring to Him to be the Lord of my life again.
I pray against the spirit of depression and ask the Lord to pour out
His Spirit of Grace and Love upon you. Keep at least one scripture
going in your mind over and over each day. If you can't do that pray
the Lords Prayer continually. Your focus will be on the right track.

God bless you BoBo. My heart truly aches for you. I know where you are
coming from in both situations. Losing a pet that was a part of our family
for 15 years. I was away from the Lord, walking my own path, 8 years.
One time I was praying and He showed me a road, and I came to the
point where there was a detour sign, and I took the detour. He spoke to
me through that image, the detour always brings us back to the main road.
The difference with you and I however, my pets death, brought me to my
knees and I was so grieved over her having to be put to sleep, I had to
have my Heavenly Father back I cried buckets of tears the week I had to
wait for her appt. to leave us. God was so wonderful in His own way He
helped me begin to come back to the road and walk with Him again. It
was slow, and sometimes hard to stay focused because of the enemy
did not want me to believe I could be forgiven. I held on tight to Gods
hand and His word and gradually I began to realize, I am forgiven. I just
needed to learn to forgive myself.

Can you relate to this at all my friend ? I hope I have not offended you
or taken up a topic that does not fit your situation. You just gave me
an opportunity to share I do know where you are and praying it helps you
to know YOU will be okay.. Not just to appease us, but to be certain you
are His child and He has a plan for your life. Hold on tight, okay ? ( HUGS)
 
bobo, you are a child of God and He is waiting with open arms. Something bad isn't on it's way to you, it already happened. Your beloved dog died. That takes time to process, and it takes a long while to grieve. God knows you are hurting from the loss of your dog, He understands this. Yes you can get your strong belief back, start right now. Just open your heart and pray. He is waiting for you.
 
All things are possible for you if you believe. God's grace and mercy remain while there is breath in your body and while the blood still pulsates throughout your mortal body. It is not too late until after the physical body dies... I pray for restoration of your salvation....
 
Even when we are unfaithful, Jesus remains faithful. :)
Im glad you are doing better and seeking Jesus, I dont believe you ever stopped though. :)

Bobo, my dear! I'm sorry to hear of this. :(

Lately I've been thinking, just for myself, that when trials and sadness come, I tend to forget all the good the Lord has done in my life. I am thinking of Psalm 103, which I recommend, but will quote just a little of here...

Praise for the LORD’S Mercies.A Psalm of David.
1Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget none of His benefits;
3Who pardons all your iniquities;
Who heals all your diseases;
4Who redeems your life from the pit;
