Mary and Joseph left the city of Jerusalem without Jesus, and when they finally noticed that he was not with them, they headed back to find him. it took three days to find him , when they came upon him in Jerusalem in the temple talking to doctors, Mary asked him; Why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold,thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?---------------- Joseph and Mary did not understand that at all,but Mary never forgotten what he had said. It seems here that Joseph and Mary had forgotten who Jesus really was. thinking that Jesus did not know who he was., or who his Father was. He knew his real Father.
