Jesus died on the cross flesh and blood, corruptible body ,and was risen flesh and blood. corruptible body. when he ascended only then did he become incorruptible.. His last words before he left was in the presence of his disciples. They were the only ones to see him ascend.

Hi Gabriel

I am not convinced that you have got this quite right.
When Jesus rose it is true that He had a physical body (after all the dsicples touched Him and some explored His wounds even), but He also appeared and disappeared in supernatural circumstances.

Factor in the reality of the deplorable state of Jesus' body when it was placed in the tomb. If His resurrection merely restored His body to a state just prior to His death then He would have, in modern parlance, been an intensive care patient. Instead He was able to walk long distances (remember the road to Emmaus), eat and drink normally, etc.

I have to say that a lot changed between the time Jesus was laid in that tomb and His resurrection. I am not sure it is correct to say that His body was corruptible, especially in the same sense that it might have been prior to the tomb.

Not true at all. He told them to even give him something to eat. Flesh and blood

AFTER HIS RESURRECTION ;ST. LUKE;24;38-43;-38;And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39; Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me.,and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones,as ye see me have..40;And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. 41; And while they yet believed not for joy,and wondered,he said unto them,Have ye here any meat? 42;And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. 43;And he took it,and did eat before them. HE appeared and disappered before his death as well, you have to know where to find it in scripture. The power of God from beginning to end.

With respect Gabriel you are not making your point - nothing you have said somehow proves that the body of Jesus was corruptible after His resurrection - rather you seem to be confirming exactly my point!

flesh ,blood, and bones is corruptible which Jesus was when he rose from the grave. he was all human. that is what he was explaining to his desciples. he transformed into an uncorruptible body when he ascended . a body that could not be destroyed any longer.
