Known as the higher righteousness; MATTHEW;5 ;17; Think not that I am come to destroy the law,or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18; For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.................( Here we see Jesus telling his disciples that the law will always remain,because it is for the sinners to come to repentance. At the same time separating those that come to him from the law where we are no longer under that curse.It will not pass away until Jesus returns,and there is a new heaven, and earth.Matthew; 5 ; 19; WHOSOEVER therefore shall break one of these least commandments,and shall teach mean so,he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven,but whosoever shall do and teach them,the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20; For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.....................................( Here we see Jesus telling them that if a person breaks the least, and teach others to break them,that he will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. This is those that have come into the kingdom of heaven., and the person that keep them and teach others to keep them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. I believe that we are known by God which of us are the least and the greatest. This is how all believers will be judged on that day.. What does he mean by unless their righteousness exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees? That the righteousness of God and their faith in him will save them and they will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Not that righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees that was the tradition of men, and not believing that he was the son of God. The kingdom of heaven ,they would not enter.
