The Trinity dwells above and outside of time.
Yes, but a God/Human High Priest started at some point.
The Blood of Jesus covers those who believed by faith before the Cross, just as it covers those who came after. That is what the High Priesthood is all about. Transcends time and place.
The chapter given does say He came as our high priest.Christ was the Sacrifice and the High Priest. It doesn't say Jesus couldn't start being the High Priest while on Earth.
Are you seriously going to deny Jesus the Title before He was on the Cross? Or are you saying by Blood He was the High Priest at Birth?
Then why this:?
Heb 2:17,18 “For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”
Heb 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are— yet was without sin.”
The chapter given does say He came as our high priest.
I was thinking this part especially might help answer the question for which I posted a link to Hebrews 9~
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.
Kindly study the epistle to the Hebrews to see the contrast between Levitical High Priests and Christ.Jews had High Priests living on Earth.
The Levitical priesthood was TEMPORARY until the sacrifice of Christ. This was the one sacrifice for sins forever, which made Christ both the Sacrifice (the Lamb of God) as well as the Great High Priest after the order of Melchizedek. The concept of priesthood (pointing to Christ) has been around for a long, long, time. It did not begin when Paul penned Hebrews.
Once again God can not die, in the same token, mere man can not take the sins of all mankind who ever walked the earth,
God became a physical man, so he could die, and as God could take the sins of the world
i think your trying to make it more difficult than it is my friend
he became our high priest when he rose from the dead, His temptation was lifelong,
Even Aaron was not high priest until after the sacrifice of the lamb. The washing of water was just part of it

Baptism is a cleansing with water. The crucifixion was a Baptizing with His Blood.

I'm being told a sacrifice is required to make a High Priest. So it wasn't at the Baptism Jesus became the High Priest, but the Cross. The Baptism is cleansing the Sacrifice ..Himself.
Hebrews 9:11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here,
I think they might be saying after the Cross.
