Amen un2him., That is our daily hope as we wake up each day and prepare for the hours ahead Jesus has given. Being put in situations in life does grow our faith. We are also here to share the hope and truth we have been given.
I'm not exactly sure when this "step over" to believing in Jesus active hand in my every day life happened to me because it was a progressive revelation, but without knowing Jesus loves me this way, leaving the house would be impossible.
Not all Christians believe in healing or that God is involved in our lives to this degree and that is such a shame because it is our INHERITANCE from JESUS. As you wrote here, people look at life and see everything all in front of them and around them and in the seeing it ALL in the natural, lose sight of His ever presence in and for them. Psalm 91 is true regardless of what we see in the world.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. (Whose power no foe can withstand)
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely and in Him I confidently trust!
For then He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
Then He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

She had nothing in the natural that could consistently sustain her and she had to make that choice to trust God for everything she needed for her survival. And she did and HE did. We have a choice to believe or not. Is God intimately involved and interested in me? YES. The Bible says God is for me who can be against me. Amen!! That is for all His children. We have these promises. We have this treasure in earthen vessels. Wow.

There were about 40 other applicants with the right experience. And though she lacked the relevant experience, by the favor of God, she got the job which came with better pay and a car allowance that fully subsidized her car loan. Her new company was even willing to pay for her petrol and cell phone expenses—all because she believed and confessed that she had the favor of God!
Do not look at what you do not have in the natural and see lack. Trust in the favor of God and you will see blessings which your natural abilities cannot bring!

Yes, the kinsman redeemer concept!!. As a woman., at times there is absolutely no strength to even dare to see a way out. Then the truth of the Kinsman Redeemer comes in and the way is made clear by Him alone.

Not we are the hope and light of this dying world. It was and is only Jesus. Where he gave us the task to heal the body. How much more important is to tell the gospel.
How many from the people which Jesus healed followed him? The task he gave us was to spread the gospel and not to heal.
I know people in india which came to christ because they saw that his power is greater then satans. And i saw many sick poor believer, without money for medicine. You would say to them you are sick. have more faith? They have more faith then we often, because they have only their faith in Jesus and not any inssurance which we have.
Your message is a faith destroying message, because Jesus never promissed us a life in physical health. Your message will leave back many disapointet believers.

Yes, i am a believer since 1987 in my saviour Jesus Christ! I believe that Jesus heals today. But I see two groups. Non believers which he heales according his will and they turning because of this to christ. And believers. I think you are speaking from believers. I find in bible no promise that we as believers will live on earth in a health condition and never going sick. And also during apostolic time christians lived in sickness and stayed in this till they died.
Also today i see around me christians which are suffering about cancer, reuhmatism and many other deaseases. Where are prayed about. And a very few expierence healing miracusly. But the most of them not. If you are telling they are sick because of having lack of faith, then you judge them and giving them the blame. God will heal you, but you must believe it.
This doctrine i do not find in the word of god. You take the verses from the gospel 2000 years ago and put it in our today.

Yes, Jesus is healing today,too. But not in the way as he did in the apostolic time. If he would do it. Then sick people which visitet a healing service would went away afterwards still sick.
I believe it is more the Lords interest, that we live as christians and telling the gospel. Then to heal every believer. And i think it is really cheap to say:""You are still sick, because your faith is to small." Because the key here is then our faith. I believe the key to be healed is god himself. We ask him and he is free to do what he think is rigth to do.

Well first of all I haven't quoted any bible verses that are 2000 years old.

Well brother than i give you an example! One brother quotet with the words "We have today the same task as Jesus to heal people" Matth. 10,8.
According my understanding from scripture, i cant take verses out of the context to create a doctrine or s teaching.
So, if you will set Math. 10,8 in our time then you have also to consider vers 5 to 15 (go only to the jews, without money, without bag and so on).
My bible is relevant for me, but i cant build my own doctrine in taking verses out of the context and out of the meaning.
Instead we find the promise that he will forgive our sins, if we confess them, (1. John 1,9) Who will follow Jesus will be persecutet (2. Tim 3,12)
I cant find the promise: Every believer will be healed and is living without sickness and deasease. If you can show me, please let me know.

Isaiah 53 he was crushed for our well being and health and took upon himself our iniquities. That we might be saved and well!
A wonderful 59 year old Christian man shared his testimony at one Sunday service. It could be reduced to "I've trusted in God to keep me healthy all my life, and he has never let me down." About a year later, he passed away after a short illness. He prayed, the elders prayed and anointed him with oil, and he said that was sufficient to heel him. An autopsy was performed and a huge mass was found in his chest. His faith in God to keep him healthy led him to turn down a free annual physical that included a chest x-ray about 12 months earlier. The cancer would have been cured, and he would have been there to share his granddaughter's graduation and weeding.
God provided an answer to his prayers in two ways. He refused the first, an x-ray and treatment, and by doing so accepted the later, death in Christ. This is the decision that we must routinely make. God provides treatment offered in the form of medical care, and in the form consequences of not seeking medical care that He provided.
I have a special request of everyone here who believes that God has given him/her the gift of healing. Please visit the hospital nearest your home. Spend the next week praying for a miracle for each patient. You might just witness a few.

As for Mat 10 are you a disciple of Christ? I see no special preference given the disciple of today regarding what is required tell about the kingdom, heal the sick and so forth. Why would the requirements be changed for today? Same Christ same gospel same needs!
Is not that easy in the USA with the privacy laws unless a patient has given you permission they won't let you in unless you are a pastor, revernd or such. I know so I became ordained.
Never cared for the title but with the card I do get in.
Do we trust God for our health? Doctors and God for our health? Guess in the end we'll know what was best. IMHO medicine is just that .....a method to mediate what ever the aliments today is.... a method to maintain your aliment indefinitely with no true cure apart from more medicine

Another observation from my life...I cannot let circumstances or time to define for me what truth is or what God's nature is like and what His will is - I needed to let truth and God's true nature to define itself and it is clearly seen in the life of our Lord Jesus as He is the exact representation of the Father's true nature and will for His children whom He loves dearly and fiercely.
This is where the world and religious tradition will fight tooth and nail to persuade us otherwise to what truth is concerning the nature and will of our loving, good Father.

[SUP]7 [/SUP] so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
This is where the world and religious tradition will fight tooth and nail to persuade us otherwise to what truth is concerning the nature and will of our loving, good Father.
