Hey Peter am glad your still around. I enjoy reading what you have to say. Helps me understand where you are coming from. I am sorry for your experience with the charismatic group. I once visited a group in the area apart from all the statues they had all around the house they were genuinely friendly and welcoming.

While I was sitting and listening to some worship music the lord had given me some words of encouragement for each of them. When we were about to leave I shared what the Lord had spoken to me. I had never meet all but one of them. As I shared with each one as the Lord had directed I saw this wonderful smile on each face and almost a look of surprise as I revealed things in their life to them. Each thanked me as I left. Praise God he even reveals the secrets of the heart a mystery indeed.

Have seen many come out of the Church to find God! He is alive and well regardless of what you've been taught.

I have shown websites of people calling MacArthur a heretic too but I'm not getting into a slamming war on people in the body of Christ with you or anyone else.

I used his name just to show you that everyone is a heretic in someone else's eyes...all that junk you are stating about Hagin are from websites on the net and most of these are just lies..as usual and some are a "twist" on words out of context to make it appear bad.....par for the course.

..so sorry ...I am not going to slam others in the body of Christ...I'll leave that to the self-proclaimed heretic hunters that don't agree with some things someone else teaches...have a good day!

We are little gods after salvation (in the sense of deity)
We are equal to God in all respects
We can speak things into existence (power of creation just like God's)
He has lied many times about dreams and visions that were found untrue
He claims Jesus died spiritually on the cross and was no longer deity
He claims Jesus was not born divine but attained Godhood sometime later
He claims Jesus was tortured in Hell
He plagiarized the work of Essek Kenyon and built doctrine off of it. Kenyon introduced heretical occult doctrine that was then plagiarized by Hagin and taught as "Christian truth"
He introduced the occultic "New Thought" that was made popular by another heretic Mary Baker Eddy that got her ideas from Phineas Quimby
Much of what Hagin teaches is straight from Theosophy and New Thought philosophies.

Excellent...words of knowledge are a manifestation of the Holy Spirit...I'm sure those people were blessed. I have heard many testimonies of the Lord using words of knowledge to help people. it's a blessing from the Lord.

Don't know the man, never heard him preach, but the heresy hunters say it on internet, so it must be true.
One heresy I know of: he said the whole charismatic movement was from the devil and he teaches cessationism.

I'm sure our brother MacArthur has some very good things to say in some areas of understanding in the Lord. He is off in other areas just like ALL of the rest of us are.

The "heretic hunters" will call him a heretic for some things just like others do of other people that have a different view of the scriptures on different issues then what they do.

We can all fellowship around the Lord and in what He has done for us in His life, death and resurrection. His blood bought all of us. I don't like bashing others in the body...leave that for their leaders in their respective congregations.

Garce healings and underestimating the will of God

Couple years back my friend died suddenly of a heart attack. His wife had gone thought 3 failed hip replacements and now remained in a wheelchair believing that was God's will for her. She now had her husbands estate and social security disability so she was well taken care of.

I asked her if she believed in healing. She thought for a moment and continued to tell me about this elderly gentleman from her church who had cancer. The priest had prayed for him and nothing happened. Then a couple weeks later they found him in the pew slumped over after the mass. Well they thought he had died and gone to heaven. So one of them nudged him to make sure. Well it turned out he had just fallen asleep but when he got up he told of how the Lord had healed him while asleep.

I guess that was just by the grace of God!

Why would things change today? Is the same God same Holy Spirit same gospel!

I have shown you proof in the word what.. you fail to do is show me where in the word God changed His mind about healing!

Is a weak case that there are still many not healed and even weaker that some doubt God still heals or only on a grace moment. My bible says God loves us all and died for all sin and transgression.

Is okay if you choose to judge me and make fun of the gifts of the Spirit that is on your head.

As for me I rather beleive what God says!

The problem is simple.

Those who follow Hagin believe what he believes and are heretics themselves.

Spiritual authority is not based on saying mild and bland comments that people take to heart.
Now ofcourse if conservative christians speak you cannot call anything they declare heretical or it undermines your own faith. But the heretical teachers and their ideas are so full of holes you simply do not want to face it.

The weird thing is people saying by implication your belief is that God is dead. No I just do not believe in your herisies

What exactly was heretical about the strange fire conference? There were some very well known theologians that were a part of that. Can you personally point to any doctrinal heresy perpetrated by MacArthur? Hagin and any of the WoF can be proven to be heretic by their own words pretty simply. Show me where MacArthur has committed any type of heresy or any of those at the strange fire conference that accompanied him.

The truth is, you can't. None of you can back up your claims. I can back mine up about Hagin readily enough by his own words and actions weighed against scripture.

Did you know Jesus was called a heretic? They killed him for that!

Today anybody who chooses to try and follow Jesus and makes one mistake falls into that category.

Hagin is not the source of spiritual gifts or his anointing the anointing that everyone is walking in.
It is not wrong to point out the failings of the latter rain heresy. People have been filled and blessed outside these people.

But somehow to speak the truth about heretics if they are linked to spiritual gifts is somehow evil, when we are told 100% false teachers and prophets will arise and lead people astray.

Like it is insane to say you like Corrie Ten Boom who is talking about repentance, sin, forgiveness and walking in the love and Jesus alongside Hagin who gave up praying, because he was a little god. As many now think the mormons are christian brothers, it shows how far their theology has gone.

But if you get the reality of love, righteousness and sin right in your life, all the rest fall into place. But clearly this is the point, these teachers have not, and those who follow them are just the same.
