I had borderline traits and suicidal thoughts almost my whole life. Everybody prayed for me, went to Canada for thousands of euro's but they didn't have faith for me and gave up and said we can't help you, go to a psychiater and take pills. I didn't have enough faith to set myself free then.
But He set me free. Suicide demons are kicked out. I just watched T.B. Joshua to let him kick them out in Jesus' Name after thinking for years that he was a false teacher. And I kept proclaiming His Word that I was happy healed and free until I saw it.

I do not have circular reasoning. We stand in the gospel because God laid out some realities of existence.

These matter and also who you follow and what they teach. If you follow a mystic faith where everything is fluid then you are no longer following Jesus.

Thanks for clearing that up you had me worried. Now do I follow a mystic faith? Well if serving Jesus and believing in him is being in a mystical faith I guess you got me pegged. Listen Peter I've been around for a long time and I really am not interested in your nonsense.

I don't mean to sound blasphemous, I really don't. But I'm sorry, I just don't completely believe ALOT of what's been said and done by God in the bible. Either I'm missing something, or he contradicts himself alot. I DO NOT believe he heals ALL of us, and I DO NOT believe he doesn't give us more of a load than we can bear. If he did, alot more people would be "miraculously" healed on a DAILY basis, and not so many people would commit suicide because they felt they're burdened with too heavy a load..

​Baloney. You don't need a certain amount of faith to be healed. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. I believe if you have even a salt grain size faith, you can be healed. But if you need a specific percentage of faith, nope.. absolutely not. I think if you simply BELIEVE you're healed, then you are, IF IT'S GOD'S WILL. Otherwise, nice but no cigar..

If you are defending Hagin, he preached a dynamic shift in his theology and acceptance of authority.

Now we are talking about healing. The theology Hagin follows is healing is there for everyone, you just have to command it into being. Foundational to this idea is as believers we are little gods, duplicates of God on earth. The teaching goes further to say God does not have authority on earth anymore, but prayer gives him permission to do anything on earth.

So this is staying on topic. But probably you do not know Hagins teaching or theology, so are giving ascent to him will being in ignorance. The problem with heresy is it no "nice" or "loving", but blasphemy and heresy. You cannot rebuke about these ideas "lovingly", you just need to challenge people about it.

So I encourage you to investigate what these guys believe before quoting them.

There are two kinds of teachers -- good one, and ones to avoid. Our effort ought to be to figure out which is which. Sometimes good ones ought to be avoided too, but not because they don't know what they're teaching, but because of where our thoughts go when hearing.

I'd rather listen to that alley cat in heat in our alley than Hagin. MacArthur is good, but he makes me angry at the world. Not a good place for my heart to go.

There is a lot of good in everything and everybody I try rather to find that! Guess that is just how I'm wired. The rest I'm leaving up to God.

Wired first? Spent 20 yrs. In a traditional church. Had a lot of questions after waking up from some unusual dreams I believed were from the Lord. Never had them before at least had'nt remembered them. The pastors could not answer my questions about what they ment. Asked everyone I knew again no one had answers. So I inquired of the Lord and he started showing me in the word the meaning of these dreams. My faith grew and daily the Lord was speaking and showing me things I never knew before. I was awoken to a whole new journey with the Lord. I'm not sure if anyone had fallen asleep in their faith but that is how I can discrib the difference. Like the SPirit of God woke me up.

Yes you can simply use the verses. It works. I put them on my head and proclaimed them for hours a day for a year and then I saw in my body that I was healed.
We are healed by His stripes is the same as we are made holy, we died with Christ and are free from sin. As long as you don't believe and confess it it won't profit you.

Before hubby became saved, (and way before I met him -- matter of fact, I was in my early teens when all this happened), he studied all religions. He thought the eastern religions were full of it, but he picked something up from them that wasn't good.

He's highly sensitive to chemicals ever since he was cleaning out a jet fuel tank from the inside, the fumes made him so loopy/stoned he didn't notice the fuel was eroding his skin, until he was in the chow line and someone asked him if he knew his shirt had blood all over it. (The next thing he remembers was waking up in Germany in a hospital. Doesn't even remember the helicopter ride off the aircraft carrier.)

After his time in the Navy he became an HVAC mechanic, which tends to make hands black with oil and soot, so cleaning them included a paste called Goop. The jet fumes gave him third degree burns all over his body. Goop just gave him the rash of first degree burns. He meditated, and the rash disappeared -- every night.

His partner at work was a gruff old guy, but he loved the Lord. He invited hubby and his then-wife over for dinner. He was a gruff old guy. His wife was a real sweety with an even bigger heart for the Lord. And she knew the Bible inside out, backward and forward.

Future-hubby played a game he liked to play with Christians -- "See if I can confuse them enough to stop being believers." He was good at it. He had talked many a churchgoer into quit going, and many who claimed to be Christians right out of that claim with his games, But it wasn't working with the sweet lady.

They spent three weeks going back and forth with this game. Future-hubby knew all the verses that could be contested. She'd flip to that section of the Bible to prove him wrong. He'd get furious, leave, rearm and come again the next night. He also boasted about his ability to heal himself.

She fortified. She had her prayer group and they prayed that God would stop him from being able to meditate away that daily rask. It worked. His rash got worse, he got angrier, until one night he stomped out of there, scratching his arms all the way home, and started planning his revenge. (He was just getting to the point of thinking about killing her.)

He had trouble sleeping that night, but finally did. And when he woke up he was born again.... and the rash was gone.

People are capable of healing themselves by means of repetition and meditation. It doesn't necessarily mean God is doing the healing.

(I would have said that line alone, but is there any chance you'd get what I mean if I didn't tell the long-winded story?

The Spirit of the Lord did something similar a few years ago now...one morning He woke me up with a scripture inside of my spirit. It was so alive and loving at the same time. I was just basically living my life and He started to reveal His grace to me. Then His nature. So for about a 6 month period I would get a new scripture just about every day. I never listened to anyone on the internet and then I was led to a few different ones and they were echoing the same things the Lord was showing me.

I could never go back to that dead religion of self-performance. So every now and then I still get a scripture as I write them down and take one a day and meditate on them to get them cemented into my unrenewed mind.

He has shown me how wonderful and beautiful He really is and the love He has for us is amazing. The scriptures have just come alive to me as they reveal Jesus. I love our Father and our Lord Jesus...getting to know the Holy Spirit in me better too...

God heals everyone, eh? Sorry to burst your bubble, but no he does not. He chooses to let many of us suffer with disease, while completely healing others. Why? I haven't the slightest idea. But I do know that seizure meds keep my seizures under relatively good control, but I'm NOT healed of epilepsy. I've had it for over 40 years. I've had cancer, did God heal me from that? It's debatable, because a total hysterectomy took it away. I've had depression for more than 30 years, and yup, you guessed it, I still deal with it from time to time. I've had suicidal thoughts also for more than 30 years, and yes, I still occasionally get those thoughts also.

Does God use procedures, doctors, etc, to cure us? YES, but it's MAN-made healing, NOT DIVINE healing, IMO..

Do you know why you're so easy to trust? Because you're one of a very few people on this site bold even to write, "Why? I haven't the slightest idea." lol

Precisely my point. Doctors give us pills, shots, surgeries and procedures. They DON'T give us instant healing like God CLAIMS to do. If I ever get an instant healing that actually sticks and doesn't wear off, I truly will be in shock. If God CAN do instant healing, why doesn't he do it for everyone, instead of picking and choosing? Hmmm?

I also suspect you'd be the person who would make your healing an international, top-headline story. I think I'd hear you shouting on your rooftop from this far away. I think TinTin would hear that shout. You'd embarrass your cat from all that ruckus.

Imagine christians believing jus' cuz' a person has money, property, a TV "ministry", & the like are "bigger" in the Kingdom than everybody else & automatically makes them worthy to be quoted..... such a double standard, claiming we're all the same to Jesus, & then "living" such heresy.....

Then there are those that make a false claim that another poster believes a false doctrine & proceeds to ride them for it for several pages. Such people are either fools or are simply doing what their handlers tell them. This thread should have ended pages ago.

Oh, and also, I've had countless people pray for me. I've even had church elders anoint me with oil and lay on their hands on me. End result, still not healed. This misguided belief that people have that God heals everyone, is a total crock of manure..

And "it's your fault, not God's" turns that crock into Mt. Everest on the baloney scale.
