Look at the second to the last chapter of job when (I can't remember his name) came and spoke to job and his three friends

Yet we have Jesus our High Priest, our Advocate before the Father. :D
Thank GOD.

And they overcame [satan] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11

What then shall we say about these [things]? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? Indeed, [he] who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, together with him, freely give us all [things]? Who will bring charges against God’s elect? God [is] the one who justifies. Who [is] the one who condemns? Christ Jesus [is] the one who died, and more than that, who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Romans 8:31-34

The enemy could try to make an elaborate argument and all Jesus would have to do is open His palms. :p

That would be Elihu. I think the moral of the story is that Job was blameless, but not perfect, so when his hypocritical friends came and tempted him when they felt threatened by his ordeal, his imperfection surfaced. An interesting thing about that story is that GOD did not forgive Job until he prayed for and forgave his friends, not when he repented.

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10

This is a flat out falsehood. Satan is yet in heaven accusing us before the throne. He hasn't been ejected yet from heaven.

And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, because the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:10

Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the strategems of the devil, because our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual [forces] of wickedness in the heavenly [places]. Ephesians 6:11-12

Well now, that is not really the whole truth and nothing but the truth. This is an example of why we need to take the ENTIRE counsel of God and His Word into our consideration

How very discouraging to think or believe that the devil can just go and badmouth us before our Savior any ole time it suits him

THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!!!

The devil is the deceiver, destroyer AND the accuser. He especially takes delight in accusing us by other people who call themselves Christians...some actually are! but they give their lips and minds over to the devil and instead of believing the best of others in Christ, they place themselves in the judgement seat and call out others who do not live up to their personal interpretations

Know this: God is not deceived! God is not mocked! HE knows ALL who are His and NO ONE..NO ONE can take us out of His hand. His Son died for YOU and ME! You have a brand new life in Christ...it is a life by the Spirit of God and no human being can change that.

Yes, sadly, people, sometimes even friends and family, can hurt you, betray you, deceive you and judge you.

That is why we look to Christ Who is the Author and Finisher of our faith!!
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. HEBREWS 12:2

Look to Jesus

“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” I CORINTHIANS 15:55

the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. I JOHN 3:8

Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out. JOHN 12:31

Here are some other facts to note:

1) Satan does not have open access to God’s presence. He is summoned by God.
2) The visits are temporary. His time before God’s throne is limited.
3) In no way is the purity of heaven tainted by the brief, God-ordained presence of a sinful being, “quarantined,” as it were, by God’s regulatory power. And,
4) Satan’s access is only granted prior to the final judgment. After the judgment, God creates a new heaven and new earth (
Revelation 21:1), wipes away all tears from our eyes (verse 4), reveals the New Jerusalem (verse 10), and promises the complete absence of sin (verse 27).

True. His accusations are completely powerless, but we have to believe that or we will fall under his condemnation.

Rev 12:6 talks about the man-child being born....the man-child is Jesus....I don't believe the book of revelation is in chronological order.

The blood of Jesus and our testimony and that we love our lives even to death has been going on with us Christians since the resurrection...it doesn't start some time in the future....the kingdom of God came in authority with Christ in the resurrection....selah

[SUP]5 [/SUP] And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she *had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

[SUP]7 [/SUP] And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war,
[SUP]8[/SUP] and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.
[SUP]11 [/SUP] "And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Besides Jesus Himself said satan was going to be cast down after Jesus went to the cross. There is no doubt that the enemy is the accuser. We have an Advocate - Jesus Christ our righteousness for every time satan accuses us.

[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"]A baby learns to sit first before he starts to stand and walk. The Christian life also begins with sitting. God “raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. (Ephesians 2:6) How well we walk after that depends on how well we sit and rest in the finished work of Christ.
The promised land was a land of rest where God promised His people “large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant”. (Deuteronomy 6:10–11)
But for 40 years, God’s people wandered in the wilderness because they refused to believe that God had given them a land where everything had been prepared—the work was finished. They could not believe that God had given them a land full of good things to enjoy, a land which just flowed with His abundant supply.
Today, there are believers who still cannot believe that the work of Jesus is truly complete and finished. They are trying to complete a completed work, finish a finished work and defeat a defeated devil.
There are believers today who are always working and trying to produce their healing, success and victory. God wants us to stop trying and start trusting in His love for us. He wants us to stop working and struggling, and start resting and believing in His grace toward us.
The only “work” left for us to do today is to enter His rest. We are to labor every day to enter His rest. We are to rest inwardly and believe that the work is done because it is a finished work, and trust in God’s undeserved favor toward us. We are to rest in Jesus our true ark, who will carry us through tempestuous waters.
So today, “if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts…be diligent to enter that rest”. (Hebrews 4:7, 11) Let’s enter His rest. Let’s enjoy sitting together with Christ in the heavenly places, then we will run and not be weary! (Isaiah 40:31)

Dear Coby, the theme of the thread is: “Jesus will – be healed”
And the OP quotet:
So my friend, if you are sick, know that God did not give you the disease. Read every healing miracle that Jesus did in the Gospels and see how Jesus is the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26) Hear His gracious words, “I am willing, be healed,” and know that they are as much for you today as they were for the leper!
If you read this, you must come to the conclusion that Jesus will heal everybody who comes to him for healing.
I see a big different between, if Jesus says: “I will” and if somebody else tells me: “Jesus will”
Who really can say I know the will of God, if it is not clearly revealed in the scripture.
We can see that after the 1 century the healings which we found during the time of the gospels and of acts are not longer exist. We can find that in sects during the whole churc historie, but not in the official church.
And also today we cant see this events about what we read in the gospels ore book of acts.
The only Christians which stating this, are belongs to the Pentecostal ore charismatic movements.
But the results are very weak in compare with the biblical time! That’s a bad witness!
And only to say its because of lack on faith of the believer is very weak. Jesus knows our heart and he knows our faith. I believe that the Lord can use our faith, even it is very small.
I cant see in the bible a messure of faith. And if we are honest who from us can messure the faith of somebody that we can say. Your are not healed because you have lack on faith!
Yes there are healings! But we can find healings also from people which serve Satan, ore by their own. And in Matth. 24, 23ff we can read that Jesus warns from many false prophets which will come to bring away the believers from Christ. And I suppose they coming out from Christians and will have a “holy” message.
“Jesus will – be healed” is a false promisse, where Jesus himself is not standing behind.

The best argument for healing I have heard to date, is Jesus purchased the right for Him to give freely.

How big is Jesus's love? How great was the cross? Unmeasurable by our scales.

So when we ask it is His work that flows, His desire to demonstrate His great grace towards us.

In all honesty, going to the doctor to get medicine does not fill me with affection to the doctor or the drug company. I am not about to call them God or my saviour.

So healing is a miraculous gift that Jesus bought, of intimacy between us and Him, but it does not make us super-spiritual, or great men and women of faith, it is meeting a need, and a demonstration of His authority. The Pharisees still hated him, still rejected repentance and wanted to wallow in their hypocracy and sin.

So when you go for healing or desire it, why are you seeking such things? It is there but do you understand how fantastic the cross is, how staggering the Lord of Hosts, sent His son to die for us. Wow. Praise the Lord.

You can either assume He doesn't want to except in special cases or expect that He always wants to unless He specifically says otherwise.
Of course it's a bad witness to the world that the church is not like the church in the book of Acts and that there's no revival, so let's change.

Well said....healing is definitely in the true gospel message.....as can be seen when Paul preached the gospel in Lystra. in Acts 14.

Acts 14:7-10 (NASB)
[SUP]7 [/SUP] and there they continued to preach the gospel. [SUP]8 [/SUP] At Lystra a man was sitting who had no strength in his feet, lame from his mother's womb, who had never walked.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] This man was listening to Paul as he spoke, who, when he had fixed his gaze on him and had seen that he had faith to be made well,
[SUP]10 [/SUP] said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on your feet." And he leaped up and began to walk.

Paul was preaching the GOSPEL.... the man lame was listening to Paul and then he had faith to be made whole...where did this man get faith to be made whole in his body?

Romans 10:17 (NASB)
[SUP]17 [/SUP] So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

The man that was lame from birth heard in the preaching of the gospel of the grace of Christ that he could be made whole. He believed...Paul saw it in him and encouraged him to act on his faith.

Healing is a part of the gospel of the grace of Christ as the being born-again is.

For scriptures about healing is God's will you can go to posts #41,42,55,56,58,59,99,100...in this thread.

If nobody preached that you can be born-again today - how many would be born-again? - we are all a product of what we have been taught either from our religious upbringing or the circumstances of life.

Whenever we elevate personal experiences over the word of God we will be off from what the Lord has done for us.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.

Romans 10:14-17 (NASB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
[SUP]15 [/SUP] How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"
[SUP]16 [/SUP] However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?"
[SUP]17 [/SUP] So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

I think buried here is the lie. Healing or miracles does not bring reality, it is how we walk and how we honour the Lord in our lives, the good deeds that flow from us and our attitudes. Too many people have run after the anointing, not understanding the walk and gone after heresy, because that next trip to the 3rd heaven will change everything.

Life is about how we get on with others, and that is what Jesus is addressing. The church is dying in the west because it got so intellectual when the argument finished, and questions were asked emotionally, it came up blank, because everything had become so middle class and all about show and not reality.

Now the flip side has come in and said even the morality idea is evil, you should give yourself over to emotionalism and anointing without restraint, with the lie this will bring change. It will bring destruction and emptiness, and hiding of sin, and lack of reality, worse than what was before. There is no substitute to walking closer to Jesus.

That's the most important thing. Fasting for someone to get healed and saved is also love though.
