If you haven't heard, there is a new movie coming out called Jesus Revolution, the phenomenon that began among the hippie crowd in the 60's with a guy named Lonnie Frisbee who started the Jesus Freaks movement that morphed into a small congregation at an evangelical church in Southern California. That church, pastored by Chuck Smith became the Calvary Chapel church franchise.
The movie has some familiar faces including Kelsey Grammar who plays Chuck Smith, and you might recognize the character who plays Lonnie Frisbee-- from his role as Jesus in The Chosen series.
