Jesus became angry, and turned the tables, was he demon posessed?
Joh 2:13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
Joh 2:14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Joh 2:15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
Joh 2:16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
Joh 2:17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
Mat 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
Mat 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
Jesus was angry at the people in the temple using it for personal gain, when Jesus said it is a house of prayer, and not a house of merchandise.
Jesus is God manifest in the flesh,God and man in harmony, and could speak from the viewpoint of man or God,and could act according to the viewpoint of man or God.
Although the man Christ Jesus had to be in line with God,to love people,He is still God and can act according to Him beng God,and it is His house so He can have whoever He wants to be in it,or not in it,and He wants it to be a house of prayer, not a house of merchandise.
Also the scourge of cords He made,I do not believe it was for the people, but it was to drive the animals out of the temple.
And to say was He demon possessed is ridiculous, and not even a thought that should be considered.Jesus did not hurt any human being, but told them to get out,and overturned the tables, and the scourge of cords was to drive the animals out,not for the people.
Had any person not heed Jesus when He said, get out,Jesus would of not touched that person for harm, but would of let that person be,but since He overthrew the tables, chased the animals away, and upset their business that was going on,those people would of left anyway, for that was their purpose for being at the temple,to make money, and Jesus raided it being on the Holy Ghost swat team, and broke it up.
It is Jesus' house, and He can have whoever He wants to be there, and not be there.
If a person was sleeping in their house, and all is quiet, and peaceful, and someone broke in,will they awake and think,ah,there is a burglar in the house,I will not be mad,and call the cops, but let me be a good host, and let me go and make him feel comfortable, and ask him if he wants anything to eat and drink, and if he needs to clean up,let him clean up,and let him take whatever he findeth to his delight, and I will even point to him the things that are hidden, and will send him away with much goods, and belly to the full, and all the wit clean.
No,they will not say that, but think, and might even say,get out of my house, and may even shoot the person,or use some other weapon against him.
It is Jesus' house that they broke in it with a purpose in the temple other than the purpose God intended for the house, like a person will invite a person over,a guest, which is the purpose of the house owner, but a person that breaks in is against the purpose that the house owner wants,so they will be angry and want the person out of the house.
Jesus is God,and as God can show anger, and overturn their tables, and tell them to get out,for it is His house, and does not want their business in it,but Jesus as a man did not hurt any human, did not lay a finger on them, but only wanted them to get out,all their belongings, and animals, merchandise, for that is not the purpose of the temple, and God did not decorate it like that,so get your furniture, and animals out of here, and since you do not want to use it as a house of prayer, you can get out of here too.
