Welcome. Some treat Christianity as if Jesus came to start his own religion, but he came as the Jewish Messiah of Judaism and he spent his ministry teaching how to practice Judaism by walking in sinless obedience to the Torah. In Acts 21:20, they were rejoicing that tens of thousands of Jews were coming to faith in Jesus who were all zealous for the Torah, which is in accordance with Titus 2:14, where Jesus gave himself to redeem us from all lawless and to purify for himself a people of his own possession who are zealous for doing good works, so Jews continue faith in Jesus were not ceasing to practice Judaism but were becoming zealous for it. This means that there was a period of time between the resurrection of Jesus and the inclusion of Gentiles in Acts 10 that is estimated to be around 7-15 years during which all Christians were Torah observant Jews and that Christianity at its origin was the form of Judaism that recognized Jesus as the Messiah. In Acts 24:14, Paul testified that according to The Way, which they call a sect, he continued to worship the God of their fathers, believing everything laid down by the Torah and written in the Prophets, and the religion of what The Way is a sect is Judaism. Christianity today has become a separate religion, but there absolutely is room for Jews to remain true to Judaism as followers of Jesus.

Welcome Lary112, I know several people who have found Jesus without fully giving up their Jewish traditions. And the very first followers of Jesus were Jews. In fact, Christianity began as a sect in Judaism and stayed such until it became politically expedient to be recognized as a separate religion.
No probably about it. The better hope would transform your whole existence.
It took effect on a Jewish man on the Damascus Road, who took great pride in his Jewish heritage. A man who held the zeal to exterminate all who dared to follow the teachings of a man who died on a cross. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, took that murderer and made him a messenger. He took the persecutor and made him a preacher of the very Gospel, he was hell bent on eradicating.
If I'd been born a Jew, and grew curious about the New Covenant, I would start out by examining why Saul (also called Paul) shifted from refusing to accepting Christ as the Messiah.
Actually, I have attended some Messianic services and it did not feel comfortable. On the other hand, there have been Christian services in which I did feel comfortable, so if I were to continue, I would attend a more conventional Christian Church.

I generated and edited images specifically for... And I love all the Latin, also. I have
written Latin into other of my compositions as well. One song I wrote Hebrew into!

I’ve attended two Messianic synagogues and people visiting them would have very different experiences, so not all are the same and there are likeness differences in churches even within the same denomination. Do you mind if I ask if you can go into more details about what did or did not make you feel comfortable?
