1 Corinthians 1:22

22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

I have my understanding of this to me its what do you trust in ?
but i thought i would look for other insight

also do you think (Greeks look for wisdom) means trust in mans knowledge ? if so why ?if not why not ?

What it means is that the things God would consider foolishness are things that are more understanding and greater than we could ever imagine. The verse is trying to tell us how Gods understanding works and how he deals with man and how/why he chooses certain people. Its a very deep verse actually, if you meditate on it a lot. The bible also says that God chooses the foolish things of this world to shame the wise people.

but given the times we are in
What do you think people trust in today
signs ,knowledge or the cross
if people say the cross
is the cross trusting in knowledge when they get sick to be healed (meds)
or saying i know it to be true because of a sign from God
I think Paul is pointing to some thing big here
pointing to what is faith

by the way im not speaking against meds they have helped me many times

Well I suppose it depends on what signs and wisdom you are seeking. The three wise men knew when the savior was born because they knew the signs and had the wisdom to interpret it.
Jesus tells us to watch for the sign, those who have wisdom will see them understand them and like the three wise men will know the reward of doing so.

God has always used signs and has always required wisdom to interpret and understand them, this is not putting faith in the signs or in wisdom itself it is putting faith in what God has already spoken.
We have ever since 1948 been in the end times but never more so than now. Yes many have said this very same thing for years but the difference is that the evidence is literally in our faces.

Things are getting set up for the tribulation for the antichrist the rapture the abomination of desolation the entire book of revelation is about to be unsealed and even those who have not studied bible prophecy can sense this because the spirit has been speaking to his church abundently this year.

tbh while I looked for the signs while I hoped I had a very hard time believing any of this was actually close it was only at the beginning of this year that something just awoke in me without my will of it.

I began to write prophetic poems not even realizing they were prophetic at the time I began to have more vivid visions and dreams of the end times and sometimes when I am on here I speak things that I honestly have no idea why I say them but when I do they feel solid as if at the time I am typing it it is 100% true I tend to worry afterwards that I spoke something wrong inaccurate or just plain a lie but this year started to make all the pieces add up even things I said years ago on here suddenly made sense to me,

And not just me I have spoken to several people on here who have heard the same things spoken to them by the spirit all over the world his church is saying the same things and all at the start of this year. The signs are here the wisdom is freely given and the time is now because it's all about to go down and he warned us.
