Job 16

verse 1-6 : his frnds were trying to help him but ended up arguing and thinking Job is wrong ..they dint have any idea about Job's situation and blamed him..they should have been careful on saying right words . job seems pretty disappointed in his friends.

do you think Job is wrong in thinking that God is causing him to suffer?

yes .cause what he doesnt know is that it is not God but Satan who did this and Job thinks its the bad people who are causing trouble ,if God is not. it is the ungodly that are kicking him while he is already down

God has turned me over to the ungodly and thrown me into the clutches of the wicked

Even now my witness is in heaven;

my advocate is on high.

Verse 19-21

Job is also being careful while talking to God he trying to call God his friend, even though he doesnt know anyone apart from God in Heaven.

its only now that we know that JESUS is our intercessor

Job's getting increasingly frustrated with friends for their lack of comfort. Like you said, they should've been more careful with their words.
Right, Job doesn't realize it's satan causing all the pain.
