Job 3
it just shows how much despair Job is in, haven't really learned any good truth. he was cursing himself that why was really born, as the enemy tried to destroy him in every way externally and God told the Satan that he should not take his life, but gave him so much pain that JOB could perhaps take his own life and his soul would have gone to Satan
He really went at it in his sorrow/agony of his own life , he had so much pain that he could've took his own life. That's interesting. Thank God he prevailed! I wonder how I would've felt or what I would've done in that same situation. It's kinda too hard to imagine since things were totally different back then than from how we live today. But yeah, not too much good from this chapter. Also, he does mention in verse 25 that the thing he had feared came upon him. I think Job possibly was referring to judgement from his son's sinning from Job 1:5, "And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually." Not sure.
It could be possible that Job feared about the way his children lived and thought this was one of the reason of him suffering cause he lost them all and they never came back even after everything else was restored.
