I have observed in these forums a marked lack of respect for others, in the form of sarcasm, and even personal attack, I ask why? is this supposed to be some form of rebuke or correction? if so should it not be done in the spirit of peace and a loving motive to correct? and if not what then? Pro 13:10
 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

why do you belittle others and cause strife? this is not to your good and certainly not to the good of those to which it is aimed. you all are better then this... way better, please pray about this and allow the Spirit to guide you words... the reproach brought upon the name of our Savior by those who misrepresent it is doing satans work and he just sits back and laughs, I ask you please stop,, please...

Took the words more or less out of my mouth!

There are people on here, that I fundamentally disagree with their theology. That includes soteriology, eschatology, Christiology, etc, etc.

But the way to deal with it is to post Scriptures. Do not attack the person!

I was going to title my post "Us vs Them - Is It Working?"

Because it is not! And I class myself as having lashed out in frustration on occasion, and I am praying for God to help me change and treat my brothers and sisters in Christ with the love they deserve - even if I totally disagree with them.

Thank you for posting this as some of us have constantly tried to get this point acrossed to others...........

It not only does no good for them and to those who it is directed at, but also leads others to find another place to learn and discuss God's word in a more respectful way. Some get accusing and rebuking mixed up which causes some of this strife as they misuse how they apply.......

Such is the lifeblood of Public Forums dealing with Religious beliefs and/or Political beliefs. Without such, Public Forums - ANY Public Forum/Web Site would be fortunate to have a dozen or so active members, and even survive.
 
i have certainly found on this site that politics ain't the only thing that makes strange bedfellows.
