In 91 A.D. Josephus Flavius rewrote Ezekiel's story of Sodom and Gomorrah. He thought the original story was weak and needed spicing up, I mean Piety and not giving to the poor just didn't seem like a good reason to destroy those two cities ( and 2 others which weren't worth mentioning I guess ) so he blamed it on every straight person's big fear homosexuality. Actually it wasn't that either BUT that's what everyone wants to hear. If it was Lot wouldn't have offered up his two virgin daughters to these men. Let's face it they were all perverts. ironically a name many modern-day Christians call loving gay couples who want to marry. Has religion gone full circle from the small persecuted gatherings of the Roman World to center stage all powerful force in Europe that destroyed pagans ( those who followed other beliefs ) even today many Christians want to deny homosexuals and others full equality. What would Jesus say to these people. Time will tell but it's not worth losing your soul over. Live and let live. The ideals of the U.S. and Christianity are about respect and equality, neither should be a threatening force to anyone. Lead by distinction, set the example, be what Christ expects of you. The goals of religion are not always in tune with GOD's wishes.
